Joel Alverez isn't really a tricky fight for anyone who can wrestle and has good jiu-jitsu , He can't stop a takedown and he not going to submit anyone great off his back , He had no chance against Arman, It was a good performance sure, But it was such a stylistic give me for Arman. Joel literally gave him a free takedown a minute in, I know for a fact against Gamrot that he has to earn every takedown

I know Arman is the real deal, He's a future champion for sure, I was high on him since he took down Islam and had a 29-28 fight with him at 22. I just think Joel was the perfect fight to make him look awesome, I was more impress with the Giagos fight TBH.

Was really liking Paiva in this spot but not anymore...

Rewatched that De Andrade vs Morozov fight... holy hell, if De Andrade wasn't a tank he would've been dead round 1 early.

I don't think Paiva can survive the hard hitting Morozov with his 'take it on the chin' style of striking defense.
Thinking round 1 KO Morozov now.

I really like that Rakhamonov by SUB prop at +420.  Kevin Holland came through last week for a SUB prop, maybe there is a chance here too.  Magny has been tapped out 4 times already in his career... 3 of them in the UFC.

@depmode33 agreed, had Holland rd 1 sub last week; seeing the same route here for Shavkat.

I had Carlston Harris last fight and holy ****. Idc, i'll never fade Shavkat again 🤣

Seems like Marcos Parrumpa DaMatta is going to corner Tsarukyan and Mike Brown is going to be in Gamrot's corner.

ATT vs. ATT ladies and gentlemen.

Wouldn't take that seriously. Every fight is a different fight and there is no doubt about Mike Brown's professionalism.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 8 of 12 Winners, 1 Perfect, 440 Points   |   Tied for 1284th

Tsarukyan vs. Gamrot
Arman Tsarukyan, TKO, R2
Real excited for this one, both dudes are good on all distances. I hope and think Tsarukyan can keep showing his power in his hands from the last two fights.

Magny vs. Rakhmonov
Shavkat Rakhmonov, DEC
Keep the Rakhmonov trian going. A chance for a sub but Magny is serious and hard to finish so going with the dec..

Parisian vs. Baudot
Alan Baudot, DEC
Somebody has to win I guess...

Moisés vs. Giagos
Thiago Moisés, DEC
Both good grapplers who are not afraid to bang. Leaning Moises here since he got some better wins on his resume. Fun fight.

Nurmagomedov vs. Maness
Umar Nurmagomedov, SUB, R1
Nurmagomedov continuing with the family business.

Curtis vs. Vieira
Chris Curtis, TKO, R2
A mean left hook by Curtis against a tired Vieria R2? Wouldnt cry if we get to see a cool sub though.

Nchukwi vs. Ulberg
Carlos Ulberg, DEC
If Ulberg can do what he did last time and keep distance then he will kickbox this to a dec.

Brown vs. Nuerdanbieke
TJ Brown, DEC
Coin flip here, dont know either fighter very well.

Paiva vs. Morozov
Sergey Morozov, DEC
Morozov looked real good for a while last time. Think he can go there again.

Durden vs. Buys
JP Buys, DEC
Buys with the wrestling? Cant remember much from either guy except Durden getting finished by Mokaev.

Bautista vs. Kelleher
Mario Bautista, SUB, R2
Bautista by a flying knee to a scramble to a sub. I hope. Was leaning Kelleher first since he only has losses to good fighters during his ufc run but I think Bautista being the younger guy will be in his favor.

Yu Frey vs. Demopoulos
Vanessa Demopoulos, SUB, R1
Demopoulos by another armbar so we can see her jump in the arms of Cormier or Bisping or whoever is interviewing this time around.

Predictions: 6 of 12 Winners, 0 Perfect, 330 Points   |   Tied for 2911th

Umar Nurmagomedov vs Nate Maness
Umar Nurmagomedov SUB R2
Unfortunately for Nate this easily the hardest non ranked fight in the division. Umar is better everywhere and has such a unique way of using his techniques that I think Nate won’t know how to combat it. I see Umar dominating R1 before rocking Nate with one of his patented head kicks before locking in a RNC

Raulian Paiva vs Sergey Morozov
Raulian Paiva DEC
Skill wise Morozov is the better man, however he has a problem. When things start not going his way he tends to fade and get finished. Now I don’t think Paiva will do him like De Andrade did because Paiva couldn’t finish his dinner if it was a few crumbs. But I think he will use his genius strategy of blocking punches with his face in the first round before winning the next 2 to win a UD. Not confident though

Cody Durden vs JP Buys
Cody Durden KO R2
This fight will be a finish either way it goes. Both guys have decent wrestling but JP has the better submission game, unfortunately for him Durden throws big shots that may not have the technical prowess of say a Montel Jackson. But I think he will get slept with a dumb overhand and get cut shortly there after. I’ll be rooting for him though
