Ray vs. Aubin-Mercier
Olivier Aubin-Mercier, DEC
Great to see Stevie Ray have a good career resurgence outside the UFC after the sad debacle he was in. He even retired after the UFC fired him, if I remember correctly. Hélas for him, he did great against Pettis but OAM could probably be in the top 10 of the UFC right now... Great fight anyway.

5inch height and 9inch reach disadvantage with a ruined chin fighting up a weight class against a dude who is already "big" for that division and is a big heavy puncher. Either Marlon took some super juice from a Brazilian pharmacy and he's about to blitz right through Burgos with insane speed, or we're going to see that man get completely brutalized. It's like they saw Chimaev vs Diaz and thought "**** we can one-up that mis-match"

This is nowhere NEAR the level of mismatch that Chimaev Diaz was, but it's still pretty disgusting

Idk Nate wasn’t getting chinned every fight and still had a gas tank and chin. Marlon has about 2 minutes of gas and no chin. I feel like this is worse

Yeah but Shane Burgos ain't no Khamzat Chimaev, he should've lost his last fight against Jourdain who got soundly beat by Nathaniel ******* Wood. If Marlon's on the juice I see no reason why he can't take this. Burgos really aint all that good. You could put Nate on ******* gorilla steroids and the super soldier serum and Khamzat would still **** him . This is terrible but that was far worse, at least IMO. In hindsight I wish it would've happened though. The main event was worthless pointless trash since Tony didn't win and the ******* idiot Diaz fanboys are almost as annoying as the Khabib ones "kHamZaT wAs ScaReD 1-0 dIaZ"
Wait what were we talking about?

No I agree, but I think it’s more of a beatdown given where both fighters are in their careers. Obviously there was a big disparity between the career path of Nate and khamzat but Marlon is just a shell of himself. Diaz at least had something left in the tank. I highly doubt steroids and time off will help Marlon whatsoever. He has a round of gas and no chin. Not to mention a big size disadvantage. At least diaz has the ability to take a beating, Marlon? Not so much; I won’t be surprised if he gets finished in under a minute
