Ring rust is real for some fighters for some is just a myth it's more a personal thing but for barbosa i think it doesn't matter those fights were like a decade ago he was aroun 20years old for me this is his real debut and those bjj and wrestling guys are the most grinding athletes in the world only thing they know is work so they catch up faster then the stand uo guys and the advantage for me is that umarov's main thing is also bjj/wrestling he isn't some stand up killer pfl knows what are they doing...

Stevie Ray has to beat Pettis again...? WHY?! That's so dumb.
Seems like MMA is nothing but rematches anymore.
Just keep rematching the same guys until you get the result you want. Kinda like they tried with Max vs Volk. Funny how it never worked out tho and Max got thrashed.
Hope Pettis gets finished again. He was a flash in the pan. Entertaining fighter but kind of overrated.

@anal**** I get you are dumb and can't figure out how the point system works but that's how it is.
Ray is the 4th seed and Pettis is the 5th seed.

You've been *****ing since it was announced.

Regarding Sebie….

Predictions: 4 of 7 Winners, 3 Perfect, 315 Points   |   Tied for 882nd

Tbf in Sebie’s defense he was only 3 fights into his career and had never faced adversity until he got to Bellator like Ayy had mentioned. He was heavily overvalued by the bookies and that’s why we’re seeing him as a dog now. But I’m interested to see if he’s improved at all in the 8 months he’s been gone. He’s only 30 and now in his fourth fight so we should see some form of improvement (hopefully lol) especially since he’s training constantly at a good gym in ATT. The only thing I can’t defend is he got crushed by a can but we’ll see if he can turn things around. Also the thing that I don’t like is that his opponent seems to be a Jiu-Jitsu type fighter and that was the type of fighter that beat him at Bellator, I remember him scrambling a lot which is what ultimately caused him to gas, which is insane to think about since Sebie’s base is in wrestling, but again MMA is a different beast altogether.

Sadly, yes. He’s probably gonna lose since his only motivation at this point is money but idk. I feel like he should win this fight

Awww bro that's racist!!!
It's people like you who stoke the flame of hate. Calling everything racist is just creating more racism. In case you haven't noticed.

As for the fight, This is ******* dumb. Why should Stevie Ray fight a guy he JUST finished...? PFL's point system is a joke and so are their judges. PFL is a joke all around with an hour filler in between their below average fights.

Just gotta keep rematching the same guys until you get the result you want.

When is PFL gonna give Clay Collard his million ???
We all know he got robbed in the finals.

Does anyone know if he ever got his money that was robbed from him?

idk if he got that money but he's probably getting paid well outside of it. He's an MMA and PFL vet that always comes to fight, they probably do pay him good

I respect that, I just can't pick him after the last fight....that was his last chance for me....he will probably HL KO Ray now, but if Ray keeps the pressure on him, it's gonna be tough for Showtime.

Anyone know needed outcomes?

Not too familiar with PFL and the rules/ pt system etc. Anyone know who needs a 1st rd finish or that kind of thing? Or if that even makes a difference in the way fighters fight

Predictions: 6 of 10 Winners, 3 Perfect, 415 Points   |   Tied for 685th

As of now (the semifinals), finishes aren't prioritized like they were in the playoffs and pre-playoffs. But had we not been in the semifinals or finals:

R1 finish (Sub or KO) = 6points
R2 finish (Sub or KO)= 5 points
R3 finish (Sub or KO) = 4 points
Decision win= 3 points
Should a fighter miss weight he loses a point and dont get their points if he/she wins the bout they missed weight for. Though I'm not too sure if they dont get any points if they win

Placements for the semifinals are always this way, there's always 4 fighters scheduled in the semi-finals, these are the four that placed best (point wise) in the pre-playoffs and playoffs, out of those four fighters

The number 1 ranked person (ranked based on their amounts of points) gets paired with the number 4 ranked person
The number 2 and 3 fight each other.

Usually in the playoffs, the losers of the pre-playoffs end up fighting the winners of that same pre-playoff. Again I don't really know how this works

If you have any other questions you can ask in the forums or look it up, there are plenty of websites that give more detailed info than me!

I think that's because about 5 people submit picks for PFL and they're mostly cucks who just pick the guy with better abs.
