I'd imagine they should announce the fights soon, this is probably the lightweights and the light heavyweights again.

The PFL should divide each weight class into two divisions of four fighters each, with each fighter fighting the three fighters in his/her own division once each.

At the end of the regular season, the top two fighters in each division advance to the semifinals, with the winner of one division fighting the runner-up in the other division.

And since every fighter in the same division will have had a head-to-head fight against each other, the tie-breakers would be far less, how shall we say, "Byzantine."

The extra points for stoppages etc. will only come into play if three fighters from a division finished 2-1 with the fourth fighter 0-3, or one fighter finished 3-0 and the other three 1-2.

Too bad this matchup means only 1 will have a shot at the playoffs, I think they’re both in the top 4 PFL lightweights

@jrscolwell

Long shot perhaps, but Ollie could beat Manfio, and with a bunch of decision wins on the card, Manfio gets in with 4 points and Ollie with 6, I think.

Could be:

Pettis
Collard/Martinez
Ollie
Manfio

Collard vs. Martinez
Clay Collard, DEC
Good fight. Collard is actuslly developing into a solid mma fighter

Júnior vs. Souto
Antônio Carlos Júnior, SUB, R1
Shoeface is too OP in PFL. He’s literally a cheat code

Manfio vs. Aubin-Mercier
Olivier Aubin-Mercier, DEC
**** this is a good fight. Wish they didn’t match up the two best guys in the weight class tho but it is what it is

Stephens vs. Price
Jeremy Stephens, TKO, R1
Lol. That’s all I have to say

Akhmedov vs. Aukštuolis
Omari Akhmedov, TKO, R1
Omari has no business being at 205 but this is an easy win, especially if he comes out like he did last time. Hopefully we get Omari vs ACJ in the finals this year

Sordi vs. Monte
Emiliano Sordi, TKO, R1
I don’t think monte could have had a worse debut. He basically got ko’ed and subbed in 30 seconds. I think sordi is a sub par fighter but this should be an easy win. Especially because sordi is at sanford now

Wilkinson vs. Pešta
Rob Wilkinson, TKO, R1
I really wanted to believe pesta had improved but man that last fight…

Hamlet vs. Silveira
Josh Silveira, SUB, R1
Silvera being first fight on the card is an L. He’s one of the best talents PFL has atm

I think part of the reason Cory looked so good is more because sordi is a bad fighter

Cory isn't overly impressive but the fact Pesta got a second fight and he didn't doesn't make any sense.

Poor Cory keeps getting shafted by PFL. He might yet make it further depending on who wins here, but sucks he might miss the playoffs again after pulling off an upset.

One of these guys will pull out for sure. Some of these guys got finished 2 months ago. I'm surprised Sordi is even available to fight. Didn't he get injured against Hendricks? I might be thinking of something else.

Not just Hendricks is missing, so is Don Madge.  Surprising considering they were trying to build hype around him last season with the showcase fights.
