I get Al-Silawi beat the Lazy King but for him to be a -300 something favorite is insane to me.  This is way more of a pick em, even with Tibau being a bit shopworn.  It isn't like PFL is stringent on testing like USADA and the UFC, I mean my God look at some of the resurging careers, the woman Larissa Pacheco is facing, and then look at Kayla Harrison.  Are you kidding?  And even if Al-Silawi seemingly gets the better of Tibau in a decision, who knows if the judges are on their **** again and Tibau catches a live Arlovski.  I have no problem with Al-Silawi being the favorite, but not at that price and with all of the other intangibles.   Dog or pass.

And if Tibau goes out and immediately gets starched, I will be the first to come in and say "good call, that was a terrible read".

You're talking fights that took place over a decade ago my man. You've listed off a bunch of retired or declining fighters as if I'm unaware who they are lol. You're using Joe Stevenson, Tyson Griffin, Nick Diaz and Jeremy Stephens as names that are supposed to carry weight in the year 2022. They don't, and you know it.

Fact of the matter is, just because YOU don't seem to know the regional names Al-Silawi has faced and beaten, doesn't make Tibau's resume so much better as you're making it out to be. I'll take current, meaningful wins over fighters who are 'currently' competing at high levels around the world than everything Tibau managed to trot out over a decade in the UFC, even while on the juice pretty well the whole time. If I'm on steroids having close, competitive fights with the likes of Melvin Guillard, Kurt Pellegrino, Jamie Varner, Pat Healy, Piotr Hallmann, Norman Parke, and Efrain Escudero, what's the point of even doing steroids?

Don't even have to look at past fights to understand why Jarrah is a heavy favourite. He's bigger, taller, longer, more athletic, built into an actual WW frame (even having fought higher than 170). He's got natural KO power, he can grapple quite well and he's got the sub game to boot, good fundamental striking game doesn't get wreckless in there. What exactly has Gleison Tibau shown you lately (emphasis on lately) to make you think he should be anything less than a big underdog in this spot?

Because he has seen the best of the best in their prime.  What these fighters he faced in their primes are doing today doesn't matter because he's not fighting them today.  It's the experience factor. That is why I think the line is off.  If Al-Silawi is the favorite that is fine.  But -330 or -350??? I just can't buy that.  I do think the fight is going to be more than him showing up and just knocking Tibau out.  And ****, maybe I'm wrong.  Maybe he does go in there and I'll come back and say, "You know what Dylan, I was wrong.  I thought Tibau was going to have a better showing than that and he completely ate ****."  I'm not telling you to pick anything.  Pick whoever you feel comfortable picking.  I'm only presenting that in my opinion, the guy has been in wars.  In my opinion, the guy gets decisions that are sketchy from judges.  If I HAD TO GUESS, the guy is on the gear still.  And in my opinion, I think all of that matters. It's just my opinion. That's all there is to it.  As far as me knowing the guys he has fought, yeah I know who Carlston Harris is, I watch ARES and Brave CF.  Do I rate Hamed, Lazy King, Scatizzi (who lost to Charlie Leary in a bad tko oof... I took a bath there), Carl Booth, Naurdiev (lol @ tko by leg kicks...guy was less than desirable in the UFC) etc... in the same class as Khabib or Islam, yeah...not so much.  Would some of these guys give Tibau problems?  Definitely they would in 2022.  But I think he isn't some walk over opponent and none of them nor Al-Silawi have fought that same level of competition.  Al-Silawi has handled a good level of opponent no doubt, but it isn't on the level that Tibau has faced.  Not many people have faced that level of competition.  Again, I'm just giving my opinion.  It certainly isn't the bible and it maybe it comes off as a hot take. If you think the level that Al-Silawi has faced is better than what Tibau has faced or if you think that what Tibau has faced in his career is vastly irrelevant, than that is fine.  Good luck on your picks and any potential bet.  Me personally, I'm staying away from this one.  IF you bet it, I hope you hit it.

I felt pretty confident in budd, but then I rewatched her fight against Amanda bell and it made me quite uneasy. Fabian is one of the few 155ers who isn’t completely dog**** so it concerns me a little bit.
