You seriously think Emmett has a chance at beating Volk? I mean he's got a style that may give Alex problems (Chad Mendes type) but I think Volkanovski's just on another level now and doesn't lose to anyone at FW. Josh Emmett is not that guy

Tbh I think the featherweight divisions best chance at getting a new champion is now, assuming Volk gets his ass beat at lightweight. I think he'd just come back hungrier than ever though, and rule that division with an iron fist for a veeeeery long time

I think they are really trying to push an Emmett vs Rodriguez interim title fight, so they can hype Volk's defense to be more impressive than it actually is to beat either one of them. It is funny cause neither Emmett nor Rodriguez want to fight for an interim title, but neither of their prior performances really warranted a title shot. It is a little disrespectful to both Gamrot and Dariush to just have Volk jump both of them like that after the run they both been on
