Pererira wasn't training MMA full time untill a year ago, and Bruno Silva has an abysmal takedown perctenage and still got Pererira down on a couple of occasions. Strickland doesn't need to be a D1 All-American to have success in the grappling department.

I think people are discrediting Riddel standup because he loss to Fizeav on the feet, I don't think they're an man at 155 who better on the feet then Fizeav, If Jalin fought Fizeav the same thing would happen to him, most likely faster

I still think Riddel is one of the best standup fighter at 155, And in a fight they will most likely stay on the feet, Riddel should have the advantage

Also Riddle Has Izzy and Volk hyping him up

Sean is currently a betting favorite as he should be he earned his spot in rankings and good fights.
That being said he must have a career performance to win, it's a pretty bad matchup for him.
The size difference and alex recent training will probably resolve the grappling advantage.
He is a volume striker with ok defense against low level guys very dangerous with a elite striker.
I will be rooting for him because he is the underdog in reality and a cool guy to boot.

I took Turner @DH. So he’ll likely lose. It was one I was never confident in. I just look at Turner’s age and progression over the years and hope he’s turning into a legit threat in the division. Riddell gonna def test him I believe. I just feel with his style and athleticism it would be fun guy to watch succeed gonna forward.

Adesanya vs. Cannonier
Israel Adesanya, TKO, R1
i mean, Izzy could potentially play with his food for a few rounds just to give the fans a show....... but why? Lol

Volkanovski vs. Holloway III
Max Holloway, TKO, R4
this could end up being FOTN ----- it'll be an absolute war-----> should have been the headliner

Strickland vs. Pereira
Alex Pereira, SUB, R3
i like both guys styles, the verbose and ostentatious Strickland ( McG style ) and the calm, calculated BJJ warrior. I'm going with Pereira for his BJJ ground game

Lawler vs. Barberena
Robbie Lawler, TKO, R3
wow, tough call here. really like both guys. no way in hell this goes to a decision. I'd like to see Ruthless Robbie get a KO in the twilight of his career.

Munhoz vs. O'Malley
Sean O'Malley, DEC
man, another tough one for me to call because I kind of dig the O'Malley hype train. can he prove himself against a higher caliber competition in Munhoz? time will tell

Riddell vs. Turner
Brad Riddell, DEC
Riddell for the skin art and nickname

Cerrone vs. Miller II
Donald Cerrone, TKO, R3
holy crap, how can i pick either of these UFC legends? I'll go with Cerrone for the same reason I picked Lawler

Garry vs. Green
Ian Garry, DEC
Garry because he looks like a clean cut All American

Tavares vs. Du Plessis
Brad Tavares, TKO, R3
I've seen Tavares fight. He ain't no joke. Tavares by 3rd round KO

Hall vs. Muniz
Uriah Hall, SUB, R3
Uriah Hall. Can he show some ground game? the other guy looks too old.

Eye vs. Barber
Jessica Eye, TKO, R2
Jessica 'Evil' Eye. Cannot STAND Maycee Barber. Sorry Maycee, you're gettin' KTFO.

Clark vs. Stoliarenko
Jessica-Rose Clark, TKO, R3
LOVE me some Jessica-Rose. She gets it done in round 3.

I'm not super confident in it, It's a pretty well match fight and i think it's the most slept on fight on the card, I think it going to be fight of the night, But It's hard to go against Riddle, But maybe I'm just bias because I'm Australian

I'm also not that confident in most fights unless its a clear set up fight, Only fighter i'm confendent in is Izzy on this card

Any reason why? Of all possible outcomes I would rank it the most unlikely probably. Or Volk subbing Max. Either way it's extremely unlikely. Care to share how you came to this prediction? Roll some dice, spun a wheel or maybe used a Magic 8ball?

I also think Max wins by finish, but it'll be similar to Kattar. Not as easy. I think Max took Volk serious for the first time this fight camp. I watched every interview I could find before and after both previous fights. Then I watched every interview he's given in the last couple weeks and the latter stand out. How hes been acting in the Press conferences and weigh ins is different from before. The other fights, especially the first, he came off like Volk was just another guy and on to the next. Blessed Express. He had changed Ortega's life with a vicious domination for the ages. He toyed with Edgar and never broke a sweat. He had beaten up Aldo, two back to back, like no one had ever come close to doing. Yes, Connor sparked him, but Max did whatever he wanted for 4 straight rounds. Max started Aldo's escape to 135. It was a masterclass.
So looking back, before the first fight Volk compared to Aldo was not really something anyone thought. And yes I know they fought, after Aldo had been humbled twice by Max. Volk went to a boring decision. My point with all this terrible reading I am forcing people to do, Max didn't consider Volk a real threat. Now he does.
Max still says he won the first fight. I love you bud but no you did no such thing. Volk won that fight 50-45 imo.
Second fight Max again overlooked Volk. But this time he began overlooking him after the 2nd round. Max sit on the stool after the 2nd round and he was already planning his interview after getting his belt back. Volk has top notch coaches, they strategized and well the judges gonna do what judges do. We're all human and mistakes happen. If Max had kept the train rolling, things maybe are different.

With all that amateur look at a super high level sport I just gave you, I think the crowd, Max actually looking at Volk and realizing this guy is at the same level as Aldo and the fact that Max Holloway is a better fighter. Always has been, always will be. I don't think he subs him, although it would be sweet, but I see a fight that Max will look even scarier than he did against Yair. Max noticed that to win that fight, he needed to use all his tools, not just striking. Volk is a great fighter. He's not on Yair's striking level. Max will drown Volk with volume and just like the Aldo fight, I think Volk folds in the 4th. Max has hurt Volk before at the end of rounds. He'll do it earlier and have time to pour on the pressure, avoid the takedown attempt that is coming and hopefully once again Las Vegas regains the title "Ninth Island". Max gets back the title that he already won back in 2020, they just wanted him to wait a little longer. And New. Unquestioned GOAT of 145.

If anyone has time and can breakdown why I am wrong and why Volk will win again and pull off the impossible, 3-0 against Max, I would love to see it. I tend to think with my heart with Max so I for sure know there are holes in my prediction. I'm an electrician, not a fighter or trainer. It's just what I see.

The size difference is what is keeping me from picking Riddell. It's a giant difference. Also like that Turner has really good submission game. May actually have more subs than KO's.

But not confident at all either way. I stayed away from it on DraftKings

The one thing that worries me about this fight is that Strickland has been fighting the same exact way since his debut in the UFC. So Pereira's team doesn't really have to study him all that much in regards to striking. However, Sean can definitely wrestle his ass off. He's really good on the ground, but he's just that kind of guy that prefers to "stand and bang." Sean is not really known to wrestle all that much and didn't really have to use it all that much either. Which is why a lot of people don't really know about his solid ground game.

Periera is  hugely overrated. Not saying he loses here because Sean doesn't know how to check a leg kick and gets tagged a lot, but Strickland probably shouldn't have ever been the dog.

Completely agree about Cannonier and what Bobby Knuckles did with him. It was a Master teaching a novice. Jared almost always has to have an easy way to land his power on you. If it lands it's bad news. But I don't see anything easy for him in this fight.
It'll be another Costa type fight except that Jared will start throwing bombs once he realizes he isn't good enough being technical. Either way 50-45 Izzy. Most will go to bed with Izzy dominating the 4th Round and Anik trying his best to convince us Jared is getting closer to landing one punch.

Izzy gonna throw leg kicks from distance and duck his head back like he's in the Matrix. Until someone that has striking and can easily take him down and control him(exactly how Jan beat him), And Still at 185.
