Even though Duong **** on me throughout the week, I’m glad that we can acknowledge that his response was respectful and humbling. Hoped that everyone liked watching the card tonight.

Don’t we all own our losses as a measure of civility on this thread. I sucked today. Yeah we talk S to each other. But we don’t come on here a whole day and call errbody clowns and P’s and challenge their wallet like an impetuous child. You can own a loss without preceding it by annoying everyone and wasting the threads time. Saying “I lost” after being a turd for waaay to much time doesn’t get my good will. Try to bring some content next week and build into this community and then you will get respect from me. Apologizing to all the people you called out would get respect from me. You can go shove “i lost” up your own A. Come back with something positive or ****. 

@gilese yeah I’m just kicking myself for not staying up. At least then I would feel like ****, but know I watched greatness. Now I feel like **** AND I’m pissed off🤣

Jiri just won the belt by submitting glover in the 5th round of a title fight he was in route to losing, in his 3rd UFC fight. Just wow, the man is special.

it could be comeback of the year for Jiri, but he was favorite and everybody was thinking the fight was 2x2. respect for the dude, survived on the ground against glover

It was a crazy-paced fight and I think that also led to both fighters taking too many risks and making mistakes that left them in compromising positions (like Jiri going for an Anaconda Choke in the second round or Glover jumping for the guillotine in the fifth round). But this doesn't affect the fact that it was a spectacular fight and it's too bad Choi and Culibao had an amazing fight, but Jiri vs. Glover will win FOTN clearly.

For those who think the ending was fixed, mafia or whatever.

Glover is a BJJ Black Belt, but he is already exhausted in the fifth round, Jiri did a rear-naked choke, which perhaps did not have the hooks, but he did it with great force and from a position that is not the most conventional but yes it is effective, with the power of Jiri's arms practically that rear-naked choke was a neck crank, it was a combination of lack of oxygen (which produces a rear-naked choke) with pain (which produces a neck crank) . Not because it's BJJ Blackbelt means that I was going to end up unconscious (or with a broken neck) before tapping, plus time is an even less important factor, with Prochazka's pressure on the neck the last thing Glover would do was count the seconds for the last assault to end. Glover's only chance in that situation was for Jiri to tire of arm pressure or for him to lose his grip and neither happened (a similar case was Jorge Masvidal's D'Arce Choke win against Michael Chiesa).

Santos' style is very one-dimensional. Considering that Shevchenko had Santos' number by the end of the fight, I don't expect the rematch to be very close at all. That was Santos' one chance, and she blew it.
