Effective striking and grappling. Determined by how many legal strikes had been landed, how many takedowns and reversals are executed; submission attempts and position advancements are also taken into consideration.
Effective aggressiveness. Chasing down the opponent with the intention of attacking (p.e., throw a shot, shot for a take-down, …). Moving forward actively (wanting to finish a fight), not passively.
Control of the fighting area. The fighter that is controlling the center of the cage and pushing the opponent outwards (against the cage). The fighter that is dictating the pace and rhythm of the fight and choosing where the fight takes place.

Double catastrophic disaster for Bellator. California and MMA don't work. The fact that Frank Trigg is licensed to both judge and ref in that state is terrifying...ask Josh Wang-Kim. I especially feel for Corey Anderson. Overtime deserved a better outcome.

Lmao.

Looking at stats for an entire fight to judge who won a decision is my favorite past-time. Of course McKee had a higher overall output. He won two rounds via grappling and GNP. What about the other 3?

Pitbull clearly won 3 rounds. Clearly. I even went back and rewatched. Pitbull 3-2 was the correct call very obviously. He looked much better than McKee tonight. Clearly made all the right adjustments. Meanwhile, AJ's standup looks like it has regressed. Finally Bellator has a FW champ worth marketing again.

Bellator has about 5% of the best talent in the world, UFC would have at least 80%, Being the best at Bellator is good, Don't get me wrong, But it just not the same as being the best at UFC. I think Pitbull would beat ton of UFC contenders, But I do think tons of contenders would beat him, He's like the 6 ish best guy in the world, Not bad IMO

I think prime Pitbull would've been a title challenger in the UFC at least. The Pitbull that showed up tonight wasn't prime Pitbull though so that window is probably closed.

If you think Pitbull won, you are a moron. mikelovestacos change your name to mikelovespitbull**** 😂 Pitbull won the 2nd round that’s it and it was via leg kick. It was clear that McKee won the 1st, 4th and 5th and while the 3rd was a close call, I gave that to McKee too off of volume. Big John McCarthy scored it the same way live as he called the fight.

This is a trash ploy by bellator to keep McKee interested in resigning with Bellator to fight Pitbull again. We all know, if he beat Pitbull again last night, he would be leaving for the UFC competition

I agree stats are deceiving but I had it 3-2 for AJ, after painfully rewatching. First round was McKee to me. He controlled the range and struck more. He controlled the pace in a feel out process. I had the next two for Pitbull, who gave a good account of himself. The fourth round McKee started to bust up Pitbull's face a bit and got a take down... Last round was easily McKee. California, man. What can you do?

I think it was a close fight and who knows? Maybe Bellator wanted the rubber match. I won't scream robbery but I think it was a bum decision. Not so much the 48-47s for Pitbull. But whoever said 49-46, what are you watching? That is a bum decision. I felt it was split either way. **** happens. I cashed out enough on parlays to make a small profit so I can't ***** about the money I kept in on other parlays. Them be the breaks. UFC today!
