This event has a couple bouts that will end in a bloody FOTY-type of fight. 1 of 'em is Rodriguez v Pearce
Pearce will probably edge a close decision out in a close fight, if he uses some movement and frontkicks to keep the distance and mixes up some takedowns with good timing after striking during the first couple minutes of the fight at least. If he lets Christian Rodriguez get in boxing distance, he will get pieced up cause Christian has incredible boxing skills, and also has very high-level wrestling (he uses defensively cuz he prefers to bang it out). If Rodriguez had a full camp i'd say he uses his boxing in a high pace, defends the takedowns, and breaks Pearce in the last round or at least wins a decision cuz JSP is a tough customer, but he took it on super short notice
Even losing this fight, Christian Rodriguez is a huge threat for the division, his Mexican boxing style with his elite td defense. Actually, these both guys are future top contenders in the ufc, watchout for both
