What I find weird is that Meisha Tate has the same futures odds on every betting platform as Talia Santos to become flyweight champion despite not fighting yet in the division.

Scroll down to UFC women's flyweight division. This means that not only do the bookies think she will defeat Lauren Murphy but she has a chance to defeat Valentina if they fight next after Talia Santos.

Do the bookies know something we don't? Meisha upsetting Valentina like her best friend Pena did to Nunes? Meisha is a former champ after all, she did upset Holm to become champ back in the day.

I'll chop my **** off (Joe Riggs style) if Askar beats Alonzo. I predicted the guy to quit against Cristian Torres on Titan, and he did - he's not anything approaching a decent fighter. He's a flashy can crusher, like Vaso Bakocevic, but worse since he changed his name just to not be accurately labeled as a can.

Trying not to think too hard about Fakhretdinov. I'm sold on him as my pick but undecided if he's worth betting on.

Both him and Michailidis.are coming down to 170lbs for this fight. Neither guy has a crazy impressive record in terms of QOC but Michailidis has to get the edge there for sure.

I'm pretty confident Fakhretdinov still gets the finish because Michailidis's gas tank STUNK at 185lbs. It's only going to be that much worst at 170. Now I guess the same unknown is there for Fakhretdinov since we've never seen him at this weight either, but I'll side with him in terms of cardio.

I think Michalidis gasses himself going for takedowns/clinching and is eventually tagged by one of Fakhretdinovs big shots. While he hits like a truck, I have to add the caveat that his striking is bizarre. He's not very technical at all and will follow up looping power shots with an insane barrage of punches. Not always accurate but he doesn't need to be with the power he has.

That's interesting but tbh I think they got it right. Now, we don't know how Miesha Tate performs physically at 125 but if she can keep the same strength and durability that she had at 135, she will be a difficult fight for Shevchenko due to her size and wrestling. As much as I respect Santos, her muay thai style and reliance on punching power is the perfect style for Shevchenko to look flawless against. Considering that Tate is unproven at 125 and still one fight away from a title shot but presents more stylistic problems for Shevchenko than Santos does (at least on paper), it maks sense that the bookies give them similar chances of becoming champion.

@theeraser mozharov. He got exposed a few days ago for gaming the system by trying to hide wins, replacing losses by saying someone else fought, changing his name legally to avoid his previous career as a fight diver, etc. so, this was found out and now he is being penalized by having his real record shown

@foppa add to the fact michalidis has been ko’ed in all of his losses… at 185/205. Now he’s cutting 15 extra pounds which is gonna tax the gas tank even more and worsen the chin

@dc I wouldn’t worry too much, like others have said, the line is definitely off but rinat hasn’t shown any cardio issues from what I’ve seen. Even if michalidis does win the first round, it’s pretty much a guarantee he gasses out completely and I expect rinat to finish him or at least takedown a gassed Andreas with ease. Then again, Andreas is going down a weight class and we have a wideeeee sample size of what happens when fighters who don’t take punches well go down a weight class; it’s very possible he gets chinned within the opening stanza lol
