If you take away taxes, camp and training expenses and other costs I doubt he would have made more than 30K. And if it was 2 fights a year that coumes to about $5000 per month. At the absolute peak of your fighting career in the UFC.
Also if you consider how long a fighters career is, maybe about 10 years if lucky and maybe only 3 - 4 years of UFC earnings at that rate what are your chances of saving anything for a future.
Injuries, brain damage and other factors aside, there is no future there. And after getting cut by the UFC and going back to regional shows I cannot imagine how these fighters survive.
Its a disgrace. Not everyone is Connor or Masvidal.
