Shakur looked great vs Herring. Valdez didn't look great in his last fight but the fight prior he absolutely destroyed the no 1 130lbs and 1 of the scariest guys in boxing Berchelt. So this is a really good fight

It's not gonna be an easy fight at all. Valdez didn't look too great against conceicao but he got with a lot of good shots. Valdez will give shakur his toughest fight yet. I got Shakur by a very close win.

I tried to be serious with the pick of this fight, but after seeing how Oscar Valdez (after giving positive in a VADA test) in his last fight he was beaten and mocked by the Brazilian Robson Conceiçao (if his name had been Robson Mayweather or if it had been a U.S. Boxer fighting in Arizona, 100% sure the scorecard would have been 118-110 for the 3 judges) and how Shakur Stevenson (after playing rude throughout the fight weak and saying things like he was going to brutally knock out Hearring or put his coach out of business) put up an unentertaining fight and couldn't throw Hearring to the canvas despite throwing like 40 unanswered punches. I'm sure this fight will be won by Shakur via cure for insomnia.

100% agree with Mikey that the idea of Ali's grandson as a future star is something that Top Ranks is trying to sell us in every possible way. But for Ali Walsh to go 4-0 against boxers who are bad but have decent padded records is not unreasonable, unless you are a real star from the start (Olympic champion type or excellent amateur prospects). In general, novice boxers face boxers with a negative record in their first fights. Regarding the pick: I believe that Ali Walsh will have a better performance than in his last 2 fights, achieving a surprising knockout without being overtaken at times by his rivals. Continuing with the line of the first argument: At the moment I do not see a favorable scenario for when fighters like Campbell Hatton or Nico Ali Walsh when they fight for an international title of some boxing organization (because of the level of the hypothetical rival), but well the same It was said of Shane Mosley Jr. and the reality is that Sugar Jr. raised his level immensely since the beginning of 2020 (even getting a recent victory against former world title challenger like Gabriel Rosado).

I continue with the idea that Stevenson will make a technical display, but now I also think that Valdez will try to make something of it so that there is really a fight.

Regarding Shakur, his performance against Diaz and Caraballo were very good and especially I had always remembered that Stevenson focused more on the fight and avoided controversies, but against Hearring (with whom he had trained together in the past) he had an attitude that maybe it would have made sense if he had knocked out in the first few rounds, but neither the fight nor the TKO was spectacular enough to boast so much.
And that as you say Valdez has really impressive power fists, Stevenson has a great level of technical boxing, but Valdez has great KO power and knows how to fight like he did against Marriaga. The truth is that now I expect a great fight from both of them.

I believe in Shakur Stevenson at -800. He has a decent dim mak. Stevenson should limit the natural order.
