Lewis vs. Nunes
Marcelo Nunes, SUB, R1
Bevon Lewis going up to HW confuses the **** out of me. He was not very good in the ufc. Nunes hasn’t fought great competition but has really good bjj and I would assume Bevon has no ground game

Lemos vs. Martin
Brett Martin, DEC
I have 0 idea who wins this. Lemos is a juicer and hasn’t fought anyone good where the best people Martin has fought he won by DQ. Going with Martin because better competition but not confident at all

Keresh vs. Johnson
Adam Keresh, TKO, R1
Again, I want to fade the Israeli fighter but he actually has some pretty decent wins, especially for how few mma fights he has. Also no idea how they thought Chad Johnson would be a good fit. He literally doesn’t even know mma rules

Buckley vs. Cunningham
Jon Cunningham, TKO, R1
I think Cunningham was the guy in the nfl so I’m going with him

Going to have to wait til weigh-ins to see how Bevon looks before settling for a side. Both guys are former MWs with big frames (6'3 and above), and if the fight were at MW I'd most likely favor Lewis on the basis of being less one-dimensional.

Hard to pick since he also chokes a lot, he easily outwrestled a D-1 all-american in LFA and then couldn't get by Darren Stewart.

Marcelo should grapple fk him

Like Bevon definitely doesn’t have a ground game anywhere near Marcelo, his only chance here is to catch him with something but if he couldn’t do that at a weight class down I’d be surprised if he does here. Also Marcelos lost to RLJ, no shame in that. I just wish we had a bigger sample size with Marcelo.

One dimensional

I think Bevons striking isn’t much to be scared of even though he will have the advantage there in this fight. If Bevon had a ton of raw KO power I’d be more worried. But if Marcelo gets straight to the biz and makes it a grappling match like he’s used to, he should find a choke pretty quickly.

Some of y'all are already writing off Bevon when we don't even know what he looks like at HW. Besides, he's younger and has fought far better competition than Nunes. I'll wait until the weigh-ins before I place my bet.

Philipe Lins is dog**** too, and he won one PFL season. Jamelle Jones also did way better than I expected in PFL.

Can't write off anyone in these types of shows since everyone seems to overachieve to an extent. No way should someone like Sordi or O'Connell have won their seasons.

There's still going to be cans this season though. They even brought one in for Pettis to beat.

Brackets are probably going to have like 2 good fighters, 2 decent ones and 4 guys they lured in with the promise of food and a warm place to stay.

Still gonna trust the adcc grappler over the failed ufc guy who is going from 185 to 265 and hasn’t fought in like 3 years
