Fair enough, I haven’t done any specific tape study so I’m more or less talking out my ass. But my memory of Kianzad is being less than impressed.

Gian Villante clearly wanted to go out in style his last fight. Anyone that actually wants to win will be able to beat Beastboy as much as hurts to hear it. Who doesn’t love Beastboy. Buday is still pretty unproven but he looks decent enough to get it done.

98th Place
I get that Chris Barnett is Chris Barnett, but I don't see how anyone is confident in Buday. He is super hittable and low output and lumbering at distance. If he can get them in the clinch he lands knees at a good rate but that's about it. If Barnett can keep at distance like 60% of the fight he could win a decision. He's probably the faster striker even though he's wildly smaller frame wise. Originally looked into him for parlay price but crossed him off the list quick. Don't get me wrong I'll pick Buday to win but wouldn't put money on him. Over 1.5 might be a good bet depending on line

The height discrepancy is so wide I would think Buday's knees from the clinch could probably decapitate Barnett's head!!
Yes Hood IS a can - but if Buday can keep a strong guy who is that JUICED stuck, there's gotta be something to that? Unless of course he really was that clueless on how to escape that fence position.
I dunno. I wanna parlay Buday but now I'm second guessing

I’ve been going over this Buday thing -
If we are to assume that Buday’s main objective is to get him in the clinch against the cage -
- He will have a higher success rate because they’re fighting in the Apex
- Once in the clinch, the height disparity is such that Buday can not only more easily knee the body traumatically, but also partially stifle Barnett’s offensive attempts as well. He is too short comparatively, where he is physically unable to fire knees to Buday’s body
- I think Gian Villante has never been spectacular, & Vs Barnett the two were near even. Odds makers have Buday opening as the favorite, so they believe he is definitely a littler better than Villante.
Barnett can still win, but I’m going to make an assumption that he doesn’t extensively focus on fighting cage clinch specialists, so I gotta roll the dice here and take the small edge on a parlay with Buday

This matchup legitimately hurts my soul. I am a sucker for a dynamic aggressive striker with legitimate technical prowess, so this matchup gives me the saddest erection imaginable because if Mounir loses he will most likely be cut. If you haven’t watched Mounir’s regional fights, I strongly recommend looking up highlights, his knockouts are gorgeous to watch. With that in mind though, going from Alhassan and Palatnikov to Zaleski is a massive step up in competition, and I would argue a far tougher fighter than Alves by a ******* mile, literally just a few numbers away from top 15 contention. I can see this bout being competitive, but not for very long. Either way, I’m just semi-hoping this fight gets cancelled, or ends in a draw.
Zaleski via R2 KO

Me? Towards Zaleski? Come on, that’s just silly. Guy is 9 - 3 in the UFC and has wins over Omari, Griffin, Millender and Sean ******* Strickland.

@hrreynolds do you mean recency bias for zaleski? It’s got nothing to do with how he beat dos santos, it’s that lazzez hasn’t fought in 2 years and lost his last fight to a much easier guy (alves is pretty good but zaleski is on the same level if not better) when he was expected to steam roll him

Lol I ain’t bragging, I want both men to win, I just like rubbing victories in doubter’s faces. Gives me a sense of purpose in life and a vein fleeting feeling that my mommy is proud of me
For real though, I’m just ****ing around, hope your bet wins regardless

Recency bias has become a proper buzzword for certain people on here
@reynolds. Remember you saying people that thought Paul Craig would win was due to recency bias? 🤣🤣🤣

You were definitely backing krylov on here beforehand and saying people picking Craig is due to recency bias
