I'm prediction for Latifi vs Olynic is that its a really **** kickboxing fight because Ilir Latifi has a 100% takedown defence, It's hard to pick a 44 year old to win so I take Latifi, But it a **** fight so either man can win

Hoping Olynic somehow subs him so it be fun, otherwise the fight will suck

That latifi 100% td is deceptive, he’s only faced like 1 td in his entire ufc career. That’s being said, oleiniks takedowns consist of him holding onto his opponent and trying to drag them down. He’s not very accurate at doing this and I honestly don’t think he will get him down. Although latifi is a wrestler and will likely just lie on top of Aleksi and win because of having no neck

Du Plessis has looked hittable in both of his outings against lesser fighters than Kelvin, but has managed to find kill shots in each to stay afloat.

He's a good prospect and I think he has a bright future ahead of him thanks to his attributes, but Kelvin's chin pretty much negates his best quality. Gastelum's hand speed will also give him fits, I haven't seen anything from Dricus defense that would lead me to believe he's well prepared for that.

Kelvin's other path to victory may be wrestling based too, I'm not sure Dricus has been tested in the grappling department too.

Madsen's stamina genuinely concerns me. And Pichel is a grinder who can go 15 rounds. I like Vince to ugly his way to a decision.

Regardless how this bout goes, I think a majority of us can agree Kelvin has the biggest pair of nuts in the whole division. He does not believe in easy fights.

Volkanovski vs. Jung
Alexander Volkanovski, DEC
We like Volkanovski in this matchup and if your a fan of MMA math you should like it too. Volkanovski has little to no holes in is game and has been a dominant champ ever since he won the belt. I don't think "The Korean Zombie" has the power or tactics to out master the champ. -800 odds for Volkanovski is too rich, Volkanovski by decision -150 has value due to the durability of Chan Sung Jung.

Sterling vs. Yan II
Petr Yan, DEC
Peter Yan is a beast. These guys had already fought recently and Yan was dominating up until his illegal knee strike. Look for Yan to be even sharper this 2nd time around.

Burns vs. Chimaev
Gilbert Burns, DEC
Contrary to popular belief we have Burns in this matchup. Yes Khamzat is extremely talented but he hasn't faced the elite of the division yet and jumping from Jingliang Li to Gilbert Burns is like going from a decent burger to a well prepared steak, Burns has won the last 4 out of 5 fights with his only lost to the dominant champion Usman, look for burns to "upset" Khamzat April 9th.

Latifi vs Boa

Predictions: 8 of 12 Winners, 3 Perfect, 515 Points   |   Tied for 2572nd

For me, in the betting world, I'm just taking a flyer on The Boa Constrictor by sub. It's like Paul Craig. You just bet it, because it's probably how they'd win.

Worth a shot.

Tapology pick wise, that's where it's tough.

Just been reading Aljamains last tweets and been shaking my head.

How has he become so unlikable recently? Once he loses to Yan and gives up "his" belt he will be left with a whole lot of MMA fans who really do not like him.

I suppose people will watch to see him lose, maybe this is all just a badly performed heel act?

I think maybe they're value on Burns at +400, Burns is the number 3 guy in the world for a reason, Khamzat is great because I'm not stupid, but at the same time,  people do  suck his **** way to hard, They fans that think he become a 3 division champion, and people are confident he beat 2 pound 4 pound greats in Izzy and Usman

I think Khamzat at the moment did a lot and nothing, He **** his opponents up, But most of them are very flawed fighter in one way or another,

Whilst I agree that he lacks name value on his record, the way he's beating these guys makes me confident. I'm not sure some of the top guys would've absolutely handled Li like he did. It was unbelievably dominant.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 10 of 12 Winners, 6 Perfect, 700 Points   |   Tied for 263rd

Volkanovski vs. Jung
Alexander Volkanovski, TKO, R4
I think Volkanovski finishes TKZ via ground and pound in the later rounds. TKZ is a good fighter but he's more of a gatekeeper at this point. He will never win a belt. Volk beat Max twice. That's all.

Sterling vs. Yan II
Petr Yan, DEC
Imagine Sterling wins? He definitely has a good chance. I'm still picking Yan. It'll be competitive in the first couple of rounds and then Yan will just take over and win via decision.

Burns vs. Chimaev
Khamzat Chimaev, TKO, R1
Chimaev smokes Burns in 1. Burns is an elite talent but Chimaev is just on a whole different level. Chimaev is gonna smash everyone until he gets the belt.

Dern vs. Torres
Tecia Torres, DEC
Dern will never be good until she works on her striking. Her ground game is great but has nothing else to offer. Rodriguez made her look horrible on the feet. Torres will do the same thing. I think Torres gets taken down a couple of times but she works back up quickly and wins rounds by striking.

Oleinik vs. Latifi
Ilir Latifi, DEC
Lay and pray from Latifi. He will just lay there and eat up minutes, unless he goes for a finish this time, which I highly doubt.

Gastelum vs. Du Plessis
Kelvin Gastelum, DEC
Gastelum has fought the best of the best and that's an understatement. Du Plessis has BAD cardio issues and was getting exposed by Trevin Giles until he Superman punched him.

Ladd vs. Pennington
Raquel Pennington, DEC
Chiasson was too strong for Ladd, Pennington will be as well. I think Ladd is a great fighter but she's not the most physically strong so these women are gonna push her around and Raquel has fought the best.

Garry vs. Weeks
Ian Garry, TKO, R3
I wanted to pick Darian Weeks so bad in this spot because I think Garry is massively overrated. I didn't pick Weeks because I don't think his wrestling is good enough to change the game plan of Garry. I think Weeks is gonna have trouble getting Garry to the mat and if it's a striking battle it will be close but I think Garry ends up knocking him out at some point.

Hernandez vs. Fremd
Anthony Hernandez, SUB, R1
Hernandez should roll here. Fremd is decent and seems like a good guy but he's getting finished in his UFC debut.

Rozenstruik vs. Tybura
Jairzinho Rozenstruik, TKO, R1
The power of Rozenstruik is just unreal. I'm not sleeping on Tybura though because if he can get his takedowns like he did against Volkov this is gonna be a real close fight.

Gall vs. Malott
Mike Malott, DEC
Mickey is so bad. Mike is gonna do whatever he wants here. I think he wins a decision but I wouldn't be surprised if Gall gassed and Mike subs him.

Arce vs. Santos
Julio Arce, DEC
Arce to win a decision. Arce is a vet and should be able to take care of business in this spot.

Pichel vs. Madsen
Mark Madsen, DEC
I guess I'll side with Madsen. I think Vinc gets overlooked every time he fights but Madsen will just lay and eat up minutes here. He better hope he can eat up minutes because his cardio ****** sucks.

Rodriguez vs. Hansen
Piera Rodriguez, DEC
Very close fight. I'm Rodriguez here. I was gonna pick Kay but I think Piera will be way too strong for Kay and will be able to take her down with ease.
