Jose Aldo- Volk landed 95 stikes to Aldo 29, He also the only man to shut out Jose Aldo in a fight
1st Max Holloway fight- Shut down the best stiker in the UFC and just put a clinic on him winning 5-0
2nd Holloway fight- Close fight which could go either way, Against the best Holloway that ever fought, Still won
Ortega fight- Schooled the guy ,who schooled Zombie, Outstucked him handly and just pounded his face with brultal ground and pound
On the flip side, Zombie wins are either Dan Ige , Or Knock out people who are easy to KO in 2020 Frankie and Renoto Moicano, None of Zombie wins are all that impressive for the champiship level. Zombie only chance is to fluke finish him, But it hard to get exited when that the only way he could win, Volk win this fight 90-95% of the time,
I will say Volkonoski got drop by Chad Mendes and drop twice by Max Holloway and Zombie can crack hard, It his only chance of winning, So what do I know? Zombie can do the impossable, But I doubt it

Zombie on the other hand, Got schooled by the guy who Volk just batterd for most of the fight in Brian Ortega, Also Zombie best win is either Dan Ige or 2012 green Dustin Poirier tbh, He never beat a top 5 guy in his carrer I love Zombie, But I don't think he at Volk level, Volk is a once in a generation talent, Zombie is a good fighter, Not great
I think Volk is honesly the best fighter to watch in MMA, If you want to see high IQ fighting, He's 2 Holloway fights and I recomened to watch the Aldo fight too, Real high level ****, The only way he lossing is getting caught with a hard punch

Lol no one is ignoring how good Volk is. The mma community is pretty much in agreement that Volk schools TKZ, unless somehow TKZ gets a lucky hard counter. Don't know why you think people are underestimating or ignoring how good Volk is. No one is giving TKZ much of a chance.

It would be a nice story too, the title challenger that nobody thought would fight for the title comes in to fill as a replacement and ends up winning out of nowhere. It would shake up the division too.
I have a feeling that whoever does end up beating Volk wil more than likely beat him by a finish anyway.
