Just watched Gatto vs Rosa. Gatto was getting taken down easly, multiple times. She was getting mauled but kept attempting submissions armbar, triangle and eventually caught her with kimura. Cortez has similar body type and style to Rosa. I see the fight going in similar fashion, so Gatto's ways to victory are striking and submissions. Cortez will try to initate clinches and takedowns, that's what she does to everybody.

Bobby tkoed Iaquinta a man that had never been knocked out before and schooled Hapqarast. He would finish Cerrone in the first round. The Cerrone in the hernandez fight is clearly not the same cerrone as he is now.

You say cerrones washed but then you bring up fights from 3 4 years ago when cerrone was still good and act like they mean anything to the present. He has very little left and should retire, as should lauzon

Cerrone fought like he was underwater against Morono. You're thinking of a different version of him. But I agree with you he's beating Lauzon.

People are giving you ****, But you a right sir, MMA math isn't the best way to do calculating MMA, But Lauzon lost to Gritz in March of 2018 and Cerrone beat Hernandez in January of 2019, And Hernandez beat Gritz, So it make sence, And the Gritz vs Lauzon fight was before the Cerrone vs Hernedez fight, so that help prove the point

Also, Cerrone was having competitive fights with Niko Price and Pettis last year while Joe Lauzon only really had the retirement bout being a good performance since about 2016, I'm kinda confident in Cerrone even though I shouldn't be because it too pass they're prime fighter fighter, But at least Cerrone been fighting, And in their primes, Cerrone was a better fighter

I think Lauzon only path to victory is to blast Cerrone out of their, It could happen, But I strongly doubt it, And if it doesn't happen, Lauzon will gas, I think Cerrone should be -200

Cerrone is -180 at present.

My picking Lauzon has to do with how shot Cowboy is. Now, if the fight is dragged out beyond a single round, I do believe Cowboy has the edge. But Lauzon is going to start fast like he always does, and it doesn't take much to wobble Cowboy anymore; in addition, he'll have the additional 15lbs to cut now.

I think Lauzon is a better fighter than Hernandez. Not based off of records or who he has beat just because I like his skills and demeanor for a fight more than Hernandez.

I have slowly realized that these forums are “prediction forums” and mostly discuss betting. That’s an error on my part for not being aware sooner. So my comment “Lauzon is better than Hernandez” should’ve been I prefer Lauzon over Hernandez, nothing to do with betting.

Lauzon, in my opinion, never wanted to retire and hasn’t been able to get a fight from the UFC. Lauzon has proven time and time again that he is a dog.

Hernandez might be that dog too but at the moment he has 12 wins and 8 years more to go in the UFC to catch Lauzon in my opinion. Personally I put more stock in longevity.

So does Lauzon have a better chance than Hernandez? Probably not, which is evident from the betting line. But even back in ‘19 only 40% of tap chose Hernandez over Cerrone.

I like Lauzon chances much better than I liked Hernandez chances versus Cerrone. The lack of activity lately will not be a factor in my opinion. I just like this fight and want to see more vets take on other vets in the UFC.
