I'm more disappointed with Rose's reaction in the press conference, she really thinks she should have won rounds by spending the whole round stuffing takedowns and because "carla's leg kicks didnt hurt", Its odd.

Either way they are going to try and get that belt off Carla as soon as they can.

Didn't watch the press conference but Rose's reaction after the fifth round was weird, she seemed very happy with her peformance. Gotta love the reverse Adesanya, from 'Look at his leg' to 'Look at my leg' lol. And the UFC will definitely try to take the belt away from Carla which sucks from a purist perspective, it shouldn't matter if the champ is exciting or not.

Honestly both titles are now in a strange situation, one champ was crowned after 25 minutes of shadowboxing and the other champ isn't actually the champ. The Pink Goof must have reached a never before seen shade of red.

I don't think Rose even believed all that "I'm the Best" talk. She got in that ring scared and set her career back a few fights because of it. What a terrible performance by the both of them! Thank goodness we got that crazy KO from Chandler on this card!

Ferguson and Woodley had kind of a similar career downfall if you look at it. Extremely dominant fighters who ended up not just losing fights, but multiple rounds in a row to where they finally got knocked out cold. Only difference is Woodley became undisputed champ and got KO'd by a YouTuber in a boxing ring, still they both got brutally KO'd and face planted into the ground in their late 30s. I know we keep seeing fighters keep fighting into their late 30s and early 40s, but it really does look like you need to get out of this game as early as possible because the way you lose just gets more and more brutal. **** can be tough to watch sometimes knowing a persons life and career will never be the same again after a particular beating.

Why you gotta miss weight Chuck? You are GOATing the resume but not the scale. But we "know" who the champ is with Olives, (Perfect excuse for Conor to get into the title picture the UFC must be thinking).

Damn, Paper covers Rock I guess. I feel sad for Rose, she deserves a better camp.

Congrats to Chandler, I didn't want either to lose, and I thought Tony was going to win based off the first round, but got 5 holed. Which sucks, I respect Tony and what he's done, it just, you know, you want to see this guy just win 1 you know. I mean since being deprived of the Khabib fight, it seems like the Universe is just punishing Ferguson for "not waiting". Which he had every right to. But respect to the warrior's spirit.

And respect to Chandler for not following up after the kick.

Sucks that the Cowboy and Lauzon fight didn't happen. :(

I wonder if they will have Charles Oliveira face Conor McGregor for the "Vacant" Title and if Max Holloway beats Volkanovski for the title, they will have Max Holloway move up in weight to face either Conor McGregor or Charles Oliveira in a REMATCH! (My money is on Oliveira vs Holloway II) For some reason, this timeline makes the most Money sense?

Thinking about the fights last night, the performance I'm most impressed by is Lupita Godinez. That girl came prepared to fight in a cage last night and she completely shut out her opponent. Now granted her opponent isn't some elite T10 fighter, but with the way she handled a clearly physically stronger person and then dominated her in every aspect of MMA was impressive. I honestly feel like if they put that girl in the co-main event she could have beat either Carla or Rose, or hell at least she would have given us a much more exciting fight with her non-stop aggression.

I can live with Kleydson not getting a decision his way when he probably should have. It was close. I can live with Gatto rather looking good and losing or over looking bad and winning. She blew the third when she had all the opportunity to get on Cortez and steal it. She got cute. I can live with Roberts getting caught. It happens and he was executing the plan to perfection up until then. I even made good switches to Chiasson, because Dumont handles tall fighters and length poorly and Brown over Khaos because I thought Brown would finally use his length...thank God. I can live with switching to Gaethje because he went out and fought for my dollar.

Here is where I struggle. I posted this on Monday in this thread. Not only did I ignore my advice, when I found out Carla Esparza was getting married I elevated Thug Rose on the tickets lol. Even though I knew the truth. Look at this ******* read:

I actually think him landing head first after the kick is what put him out for so long. Tony also has plenty to offer still but not at championship level so it’s up to him really. If he wants to stay on and take lower ranked people for a while I’d be completely fine with that. Not saying he can’t beat someone like chandler since I think chandler is over performing but he can’t beat these top guys. Especially the good wrestlers since he’s always been bad at defending takedowns

I could live with the Rodrigues decision what I can’t live with is Keith Peterson stealing a living all night walking around doing no officiating. How many damn fence grabs it was enough for 2 points to be taken never mind 1. The 1st round is the round up for debate I scored round 1 and 3 for kleydson but it was close enough for me to not call robbery. Only the referee robbed the fighter in this occasion

Or... This is the only way Khabib comes back imo since the title is "vacant" now. Khabib legit can just face Oliveira & retire after that 1 fight if he wanted to (GSP style). He said he wanted that challenge, & Oliveira presents that foil that Khabib has been looking for and didn't get with Conor.

It would of been a bad night business wise for the UFC, Having no champ an lightweight and Carla Esparza as champion of 115 is bad, The thing is, It kinda Rose fault that the fight suck, But the thing is, This sort of fight is an outlier in Rose record, Kinda like Adesanya and Francis, But every Carla Esparsa fight is a boring split decsion, Carla is the dictionary definition of boring and close decsion, But she winning and winning is all that matters at the end of the day

But in a way I don't mind, I get to see Weili murder Carla, I don't like Carla, Because Weili is going to do something, I still think Carla is like the 4th or 5th best fighter despite being champ, Because It not even like she beat Rose, Nothing happen so can you really rate any girl higher or lower
