Conceicao beat Oscar Valdez in his last fight, but it's boxing and Top Rank needed Valdez to keep his record clean so Shakur Stevenson can beat an "undefeated" fighter when they fight in the spring. Martinez just signed a multi-fight with Top Rank so i won't be surprised if some ******y already took place with the outcome of this fight. Martinez is good, but Conceicao is the better fighter. Should be interesting nevertheless

Chance to be a banger here. Melendez has mostly can crushed, but did steal a victory in his matchup with Mattice in a fight that could have gone either way. Giron can really punch and his only loss was to Michel Rivera, and i've never seen that fight, so idk how he looked. No shame in losing to Rivera though. haven't seen any odds so far

Seeing he fought and beat a 6-0 boxer last time, this really feels like a step backwards for Nico Ali Walsh tbh. If it was against an experienced journeyman who could still show him a couple of new tricks then I could understand as that's just how boxing works but I'm guessing this fight is purely to add to the KO highlight reel.

I am far from certain on it tho! Martinez is a decent boxer. Top Rank just signed him so they obviously see something in him by putting him straight into a main event slot.
I'm hoping that Conceicao is fired up after what happened vs Valdez. He should have won that fight and be a World Champion just now, also Valdez was let off with failing drug test! Such ********!
So I'm hoping Conceicao has used all that as motivation to make a statement.
It's definitely a close match up and I won't be surprised with any outcome. The fact that the Bookies have the odds at - 130 +100 says it all. Most boxing fights are - 500, even - 1000 in main events! So that tells you that it's a good 50/50 fight
