@boody yeah but tagir did nothing with the control. Nascimento was active off of his back the entire fight

One thing I find is funny how everyone slags on Chris Lee scorecard for RDA vs Felder, But also score the fight horribly,  I think 48-47 Felder is horrible, But I think 50-45 RDA is just as horrible, 49-46 RDA is my scorecard, But I also think 48-47 RDA make sense if you want to be generous to Felder.

Felder won the 4th round pretty clearly, Outstuck RDA 26 to 19 and got the takedown,Also Felder 20-7 on headstikes How did RDA win that round??? RDA did win every other round IMO. Just not that round, I think because people assume RDA won that round because he won every other round.

i'm really big on round robbory, It pisses me off because judges should get that **** right at this point, All 3 judges got the fight wrong from a round to round basis, RDA clearly won the 1st,3rd and 5th. Feldor clearly won the 4th,  And the 2nd RDA won but you can give it to Felder

Yes Tagir controlled that fight on the ground, Nascimento was consistently throwing subs and won on the feet. We all know judges don't score bjj attempts so of course Tagir won go back and watch the fight, for the first 2.5 rounds Nascimento was able to stall Tagir with submission threats. It's about 2 mins left in the 3rd when Tagir starts landing any meaningful shots with the ground control.

i'm not saying it was a blow out by any means. they were equally quite ineffective with their attacks. it was more of a grappling match where tagir had the takedowns, scored a reversal and they both attempted submissions (2-1 in favour of nascimento). it was a close fight but more often than not, it goes to tagir.

and i'm not making a case for tagir being some prospect to look out for either. he's lack lustre and one dimensional with absolutely no striking game- but i do think he won that fight

I also see a lot of people going Barboza I don't hate it but Barboza has to land a perfect shot, if not Mitchell is so relentless with the grappling no way in hell Barboza can fend off shots for 5 straight mins each round.

I dont see hardy getting a ton of love. I know he is a ******* but this is pretty winnable for him. I think the chance of spivak getting absolutely smoked in the first is the most probable outcome

This card looks really good for betting. I have a good feeling about this one.

Most picks on the card are very obvious, and some really good underdogs! Hopefully will get some tape study in before I solidify my picks.

Looking forward to a banger of a card.

@TioManel got Hardy 1st round KO. If Walt Harris can ko you 50 seconds any HW can + Hardy is hard to get down in the first 5 mins.

Unfortunately Eye withdraw. I also bet my house, ex wife and a car on Fiorot by high kick KO.....I honestly think that Eye realised how bad match-up is this for her and step aside...or not...however greetings from Slovenia...

Covington vs. Masvidal
Jorge Masvidal, TKO, R2
Got the upset feeling out for this one. Just something different; I had Colby initially, but I feel he may fight a little emotionally and it'll cost him

dos Anjos vs. Fiziev
Rafael Fiziev, DEC
Fiziev should win this, I think. Rda doesn't fight with the same fire and I think that will be his downfall here against a more calculated, technical striker. 5rds is a slight concern, but I don't think they'll be fighting at a high enough pace for it to wear down on Fiz to the point where he simply can't take anymore. 49-46 UD

Barboza vs. Mitchell
Bryce Mitchell, DEC
Passing of the torch. Just comes down to Mitchell fighting with confidence: if he's moving with intent like he always does, he can secure a takedown and do some work. Have a feeling this ends early, and by a sub, but decision is the safe bet

Holland vs. Oliveira
Kevin Holland, SUB, R1
Don't see a set way for Alex to win this, no disrespect. Holland has good, long 1-2s and if he can hurt Oliveira early on, the neck will be there for a sub

Spivak vs. Hardy
Greg Hardy, TKO, R1
Another controversial pick but for the entirety of the standup exchanges in this, Hardy will have the equalizing option of just landing a big hook and sending Spivak to the canvas; I do believe Sergey is the better fighter of the two, but if Hardy comes out guns blazing, I think this will be a one-and-done showing

Turner vs. Mullarkey
Jamie Mullarkey, DEC
Coin toss imo. I think Jamie's coming into his own and his pressure boxing will be key in this fight

Elliott vs. Ulanbekov
Tim Elliott, DEC
Seemingly, this is controversial given only 14% are picking Elliott to win, I didn't like what I saw from Tagir against Nascimento. Granted it was on short notice, we saw him struggle with the pace and Tim is a very crafty veteran who, I believe, can make the best of 3 rounds

Jacoby vs. Oleksiejczuk
Dustin Jacoby, DEC
Jacoby is an underrated striker imo, even though that word is thrown around way more than it should be. He can throw punches in bunches, and he backs it up with great technique too

Elliott vs. Ulanbekov
Tagir Ulanbekov, SUB, R3
I hate this fight. Tagir isn't as good as he seems, and Nascimento showed how Zhalgas beat him. This guy has ass for control and gasses himself out continuously re-shooting takedowns. The big clue here though is that Elliot is notoriously easy to get down despite being a good offensive grappler. Partially because he jumps necks and ****, so I think Tagir just gets like 10+ takedowns and wins a boring fight until Elliott gets more tired than Tagir does and accepts a backpack that leads into an RNC.
