Woah. This will be an epic season of TUF.

As for the subsequent fight (apparently NOT for the interim belt), I could definitely see Lesnar being the man to take JDS to the ground and hold him there. Gonzaga got JDS down for a split second but couldn't hold him.

Thank you, UFC.

The weight class on the show will be welterweights.  So, probably a lot of montages of Lesnar ragdolling his 170lbs team.  That'll be fun.

This should bring in monumental ratings for TUF. I can't believe Lesnar signed on to this. I wonder what they're paying him. Should be a pretty great season though. I hope they are able to sign on some good prospects

They've already held their tryouts (they knew the weight class the show would feature long before they knew the coaches, interestingly enough), so the talent has probably already been selected.  There were reports that fighters like Andre Galvao and Karl Amoussou had tried out, although in Amoussou's case that was when they were holding tryouts for both middleweights and welterweights.

Yeah I'm sure they've already picked them, but I haven't seen any confirmation for any fighters. It's usually pretty interesting to see who they pick up. Often though, they pick solely based on draw. It'd be nice if they brought in a few more 'talented' fighters as well as fighters who are interesting.

brocks team will wrestle and jds' team will strike.....more interesting, this makes it easy for lesnar to go to wrestlemania now...

WOW, i didn't see this coming..... who the **** is Carwin fighting now? I would expect to see Lesnar not come out agressive in this fight like he did with Cain and try to time his double leg within the first couple of minutes. He would be one guy that could maybe hold JDS down. This fight could go down only two ways: 1) with Lesnar showing incredible anger and rage from how he got finished by Cain and mauling JDS on the ground or 2) JDS doing what i expect him to do which is brutilizing Lesnar on the feet for almost an entire round, showing that Lesnar still doesn't like getting hit and forcing him to rethink his career.

@jersey0525: Dana White has publicly said multiple times that Lesnar is under contract with the UFC and will not be fighting at wrestlemania. If Lesnar really wanted to do this, perhaps this is his way of getting into some reality TV.

Do you think we'll see any pissy pants fits from Lesnar like he did on E:60 when they asked him about roids? It's bound to happen, the guy seems a bit bipolar....

How in the hell is Brock going to be a coach he's still learning himself. Dos Santos is going to make Brock look like an idiot coaching and when they fight.

@mrgreen, just because brock is still learning (as all pros of every single thing you can be pro at should always be doing) doesnt mean he cant up these guys.  He can totally train them for wrestling and strength.  He can train agility. Plus he can bring in coaches, like every other tuf coach, to train other things like subs and striking.
@bklettke, i can fully see brock able to hold down and punish jds on the ground.  I wonder if his subs are as good as they've been rumoured to be, training with the nogs and AS, youd have to at least be decent at them. And i hope we see some temper tantrums from lesnar, thats honestly the only reason im excited for this season.

I want to see how good JDS' English has gotten. It should be interesting to see how well he can teach. He should be a far better teacher than Lesnar, I'm excited to watch it.

Nothing like a good ole tantrum rant, i'd suspect they will have to reinforce doors for Lesnar though. I mean yeah Rampage tore a hollow door off the wall, they'll probably get a solid metal one filled with concrete for Lesnar to rip off the wall. Hopefully his theatrics stop there and he doesn't try to hit someone in the head with it!

In all serioiusness, i hope Lesnar can keep improving, especially his stand up, and i'd like to see him in a few wars in the future.....

Id like to see lesnar go to a real striking camp.  Send him over to holland or thailand for some real kick boxing.
Imagine taking lesnar in 2000 (fresh out of college) skipping wwf and putting him right into chute boxe!!

It'd be senseless for the winner not to get a title shot. JDS was confirmed next in line but he didn't want to wait for Cain and wanted an interim title. That's where i'm confused, this is not for an interim title. JDS is taking a risky move by putting his shot on the line because i think Cain is going to be ready a little quicker first reported.

I think they said it best on Inside MMA, I don't know what Lesnar's going to teach them.

Am I the only one that's not really excited for this season??
