It seems they're working on Hall vs Till to headline this card. Makes sense that the Main event would feature Till given how much of a start he is over there in the UK. I was thinking it might be Arnold Allen vs Korean Zombie given that Till's coming off two losses in a row so maybe they were thinking his star power might be down but it seems not and I'm happy that he gets a chance to redeem himself.

@kyramma, I love that headliner... perfect fight for those two. Darren Till finally gets a standup battle to redeem himself. Paddy is most definately going to be on this card too. Going to be an exciting one to watch!

Sorry for not seeing that post earlier. Looks like till and hall may headline but not 100% sure. Looks like leon vs Usman is not gonna happen. I saw Khamzat called out mcgregor for this card but that probably has like less than a 5% chance of happening (would make sense thi since England and Ireland are close). PPaddy I know for a fact will be on this card just don’t know against who (it’s someone on a four fight winstreak but I don’t know who that is off the top of my head, I think jared Gordon is a possibility too. I would also be shocked if tkz vs allen isn’t on this card

edit: nvm ufc 272 is march 5th so McGregor vs khamzat, or any McGregor headline is out of the question. at least for this card

Mokaev probably beats Durden but kid is way overhyped

I’ll bet on Durden at +300 range or better

“Next Khabib” is a joke. Amateur fights don’t mean anything and grappling at flyweight just isn’t as effective as heavier weight classes. Ever hear of gravity?

I would have to disagree that amateur fights don’t mean anything. Yes they are vastly different than the pros, especially immaf experience, but they allow fighters to hone their skills. Plus I think mokaev has been an amateur since he was 16; plenty of time to grow his skills. Plus we know he has a phenomenal wrestling background against a guy who can only wrestle for a few rounds before gassing. Not sure what weight class has to do with grappling, if anything he’s gonna be stronger being a BW going to FLW. I don’t think it’s a joke to hype him up either. 28-0 combined in MMA is a lot of experience and impressive no matter the level. Also if you still think amateur experience doesn’t mean anything look at how well Darian weeks did last week. He had 19 amateur fights and had a competitive fight with barberena

You mean Justin Burlison? Nobody hyped him nearly as much as Mokaev... There's a reason Mokaev isn't getting a Contender Series Fight. They see him as ready. He was signed to compete and face a guy coming off a Win...

Mokaev is the real deal in a ripe division. He has all the tools to contend for a title. "Flyweight Khabib" feels a bit hyperbolic, but when you watch him the stylistic similarities are uncanny.. and he wears the Paphaka after Wins. You're mad at the level of hype he's getting but it feels completely warranted based solely on his skillset and accomplishments as a 21-year old. Also, Durden is a slimeball. Not only for his post-fight comments, but his repeated public ignorance/racism. I hope he never wins again. The UFC knows what they're doing with this match-up...

Yeah I thought for sure the ufc would give him a top 15 guy or someone outside it like Jeff Molina based off of what Dana was saying. He made it seem like hadley was a demon leading up to fight week. The lesser figgy is probably an easier fight than Mitch raposo was.

also I don't think the ufc is looking to put together Vince Morales vs Nathaniel wood on this card because on woods Instagram he said he signed the contract to fight and that post was posted on December 4th in the morning and Vince fought on December 4th in mid day or night so unless the ufc double booked Vince I think wood has a different opponent
