Every Japan card throws up 1 or 2 (or more) of these upsets!
It's a big reason I have taken an interest in Japanese boxing

Also Kimura was an actual upset too. Tapology picks had him favourite but in reality Saka was expected to win.
Another time when Tapology lucked it out!!! Ha

Yeah I noticed that. Thought I was real clever until I saw everyone else's picks. Maybe Tapology users are just getting better at picking Japanese boxing.

Nah mate, sheer luck!! Haha

Seriously, Boxing cards are generally easy to pick but every week Japan messes that up!

Not sure what it is exactly? It's obviously good matchmaking, plus the Japanese style is very attack minded so KO's happen a lot. But it's still stands out a lot for upsets

Probably because the Japanese don't seem too care about 0s or protecting prospects. That's my best guess at least. I like how they allow fighters with more then 3 losses to actually get a shot at becoming champ without stupid politics getting in the way.
