Dumont vs. Ladd
Dumont, KO/TKO
Ladd accepted this fight and had no idea it was 5 rounds. That's....not good. She was preparing for a fight at a lower weight class less than a month ago and could barely stand on a scale at 137lbs. Meanwhile, Dumont has been preparing her body for 5 rounds of Holly Holm. There's also the fact Ladd hasn't fought since 2019. I think with a little more preparation Ladd probably win's this fight but I can't confidently pick her at all right now.
Arlovski vs. Felipe
Arlovski, DEC
Levels. Felipe has great boxing for a heavyweight but beating Jake Collier by split is not a good look. Felipe did rock Collier quite a few times. If he can catch Arlovski with 3-4 good shots he could put him out. However, I'm fully expecting Arlovski to just pick him apart for 15 minutes.
Miller vs. Gonzalez
Miller, SUB
Taking the experience here. Gonzalez has no notable wins and brings nothing Miller hasn't seen at one point in the cage. This is a rough first opponent for a UFC debut.
Fiorot vs. Bueno Silva
Fiorot, KO/TKO
Sneaky good fight. Fiorot's striking is next level. Bueno Silva is tough but I personally think Fiorot could be special. UFC seems committed to developing her right. Almost certainly doesn't go the distance.
Klein vs. Landwehr
Klein, KO/TKO
I think Klein underestimated Trizano in his last fight. He seemed overwhelmed by the mid 2nd round and got away from his game plan. Fight still ended close but he lost a close decision chasing takedowns. If he sticks more to his striking he'll get Landwehr out of there no problem.
Sanchez vs. Silva
Silva, KO/TKO
Sanchez can make this fight entertaining if he leans more on his wrestling. I still think Silva has the TDD and advantage in the striking to eventually get Sanchez out of there.
Roberts vs. Emeev
Emeev, DEC
Will almost certainly be a boring clinch/wrestle fest for 2-2.5 rounds. Emeev does this weird thing in 3rd rounds sometimes where he thinks he can suddenly kickbox. He definitely shouldn't try that tonight.
Godinez vs. Carolina
Godinez, DEC
Honestly nowhere near as confident in this pick as the majority that are picking likely are. Loopy has talent and I love the confidence in the quick turnaround. Size issue is notable but Loopy has serious strength. If she manages the reach disadvantage she'll cruise to a dec.
Davis vs. Batgerel
Davis, DEC
Level of competition between these two isn't close. Batgerel has looked awesome his last two fights. He'll get a nice bump in competition in a stacked division if he finishes Davis here. I'm taking the dog who's clawed his way back into the UFC.
Carnelossi vs. Nunes
Carnelossi, KO/TKO
Ground and pound. That's all I got.
