Wow Alvarez vs. Tsarukyan, what a fight.
Oddsmakers already have Alvarez a +310 dog!?
I'll take that. I get it, Tsarukyan has good wrestling, but I'm not 100% sold on him yet, and Alvarez is extremely dangerous everywhere, and continuing to get better.
Just gotta make weight this time.

This should be an interesting matchup as alvarez actually cannot stop a takedown; in fact he has a 0% tdd. But, he wants to get taken down because he knows how dangerous he is on the ground. Armans challenge is trying to avoid getting ko’ed or subbed as alvarez is an incredible finisher

Also alvarez will be forced to make weight for this bout otherwise he’s gonna have to move up or risk getting cut likely. Will be interesting to see what happens when he’s not outweighing his opponent by 20 pounds or more; even if he makes weight he will still be massive compared to arman, but not as big as he normally would be. He might not finish tsaryukan as easy too so we have to see how his gas tank holds up

Agree Alvarez has low TDD, but I hardly think it's as bad as the 0% suggests, as he welcomes the fight going to the mat given his insane grappling skills. Either way, his odds on Betonline are +310 right now. I will take that all day given his potential. You'd have to be insane to think Alvarez only has a 24% chance of winning this fight.

oh, 100%. Im just interested to see if he will be able to get up with such a suppressive wrestler on top of him. Theres also the question of can Alvarez make weight; I think he will because he did address that he was going to see a nutritionist. I also wanna see how his gas tank is too as wrestling takes a lot of energy and hes never been the distance before. We all know arman can do 15 minutes no problem.

I was super confident he was gonna beat Moises so I think he definitely has a chance. Hes far too good to be +310. Line will likely close as it gets closer to the fight

Alvarez has been a +200 or greater dog in almost every fight. This might be the first fight where it makes sense, but still worth a look.

Yeah its probably justified in this case, just that the line shouldn't be as extreme tbh. Its not like Arman is unbeatable, its just very difficult to do so.
