I know mma math doesn't add up but look at the damage done to Brunson and Cannonier common opponent Anderson Silva. Cannonier brings the power I dont think Brunson can handle. However Brunson has looked improved recently, especially vs Shabazian..

Whittaker is a live dog.. I can almost guarantee it will be more competitive fight than the first one..

I'll be there. Anybody else gonna be in.Htown?

Mma math isn’t really applicable here tho because the Brunson that fought silva is a completely different fighter than the one that is fighting cannonier

Brunson is much improved (after aligning with sanford) Brunson earns his W's by manhandling and big BROing his opponents. Goodluck man handling a killa gorilla. We do know brunsons jaw is weak, he gets bambi legged anytime he gets hit in the face. Still though I think this fight is gonna be a banger and can see Brunson winning untill he gets caught.

Ill be in HTOWN Thursday-Sunday at the fighter hotels anybody else gonna be there?

yeah pretty much my exact thoughts. I have cannoneer winning but not super confident because ive been 0-5 on Brunsons winstreak lol.

Dr Brun and Jared is a toss up little improvement, game planning is a tactic and only as good as your tape.
I favor the wildman with power over the ex...who now spams takedowns for lack of a real fighting style.

Yeah his striking hasn’t really looked improved for me, I think he’s just learned that blitzing in with your chin up trying to take people out is not a good idea. Seeing decisionator Darren almost ko him and then seeing him almost get knocked out by holland (holland hits decently hard tbf) makes me think cannonier will have basically no problem hurting him on the feet. Cannonier has a knockdown against everyone he’s fought at MW except for whittaker and someone brought up the really good point of cannonier stuffing takedowns from hermansson. Obviously, Brunson is the better wrestler but hermansson is one of the better wrestlers/grapplers at MW (probably top 3 behind Brunson and vettori) so it’s good to see he can stop takedowns

He is for sure but I think it’s evenly matched in striking; Hernandez is very quick and definitely hits harder but moicano is a deceptively good striker for someone with 0 ko’s. Very high volume and good Muay Thai. Also uses leg kicks and movement very effectively. Not to mention he has all the advantage of the fight goes to the ground. His chins not bad either; look who’s koing him
