Encamp seems very happy and confident during the weigh-ins.  I guess I will take him.

Pettis vs. Horiguchi
Kyoji Horiguchi, TKO, R2
Gut feeling that Horiguchi flying knees him in the first or second and finishes Pettis with ground and pound. However it's most likely set to go the distance

Chokheli has 9 Ko wins, but I looked at them knockouts lol I thought it would go to Dec in favor of georgian, but after seeing weigh ins and comparing competition levels - changing my pick to brazilian. I sense it might be a ko victory for him.

Predictions: 5 of 11 Winners, 2 Perfect, 300 Points   |   Tied for 824th

Pettis vs. Horiguchi
Kyoji Horiguchi, DEC
Horiguchi is undoubtedly one of the world's top bantamweight fighters, although his departure from the UFC was disconcerting, it was part of his process where he improved his skills, achieved great recognition within his country of Japan and being sincere: Horiguchi make more money in Rizin than Dana White would have been willing to pay a top flyweight in the UFC. Pettis has had a strong step since his debut at Bellator (winning the championship in his third fight) and I must admit that he made good money on his title shots as the bookies put Pettis +170 and I was clearly convinced of his triumph over Archuleta ever since Coker announced the fight. But with regard to the fight, it seems to me that the Pettis Brothers are fighters with great talent, but they do not always know how to exploit it due to factors such as the pressure that an opponent can exert during the fight. For his part, Horiguchi is a fighter with a strong mentality who managed for example: to subdue Kape after losing in striking and also managed to avenge his defeat against Asakura, being able to even knock him out in the first round after spending a year out for a devastating injury. The corners will be essential in this match and I think ATT is much better in this regard than Roufusports.

Sanchez vs. Kennedy
Jeremy Kennedy, DEC
Sanchez belongs to that generation of featherweights like Daniel Weichel, Mason-Straus and Karakhayan to name a few while Kennedy is a relatively new fighter to Bellator with experience in the PFL and UFC. I think if Kennedy manages to ground him and be careful of submission attempts he can upset Sanchez. Many Bellator fighters debuting between 2019 and 2020 are starting to take the top rankings in each category and I think Kennedy can give the upset.

Kamaka III vs. De Jesus
John De Jesus, DEC
Kamaka is a young fighter who perhaps entered the UFC relatively early with many aspects that he can improve in the future. For his part, De Jesus is a prospect killer with interesting victories in the last year and who has only been defeated by fighters such as Bill Algeo, Billy Quarantillo, Pat Sabatini, Danny Chavez (Current UFC Fighters), Jason Soraes (former Titan FC Champion) and Aaron Pico. (one of Bellator's top prospects in recent years). The fight seems like 50-50 to me, it can be won by either of the two, but I lean towards John De Jesus due to his experience and reach advantage.

Hamel vs. Mota
Killys Mota, DEC
Killys Mota is a fighter with very good striking and an underrated ground game, as well as being very strong in the clinch. This last factor is very important because Hamel's main strategy is the Wall and Stall and if Mota manages to keep the distance or in case of being against the fence, dominate the clinch and reverse the position, that may be his way to victory.

Carlyle vs. Moret
Spike Carlyle, TKO, R2
Carlyle is building his way out of the UFC with a 3 game winning streak and now has a chance to face Moret (who debuted with an upset against Yamauchi) on short notice. I think Carlyle will continue with this winning streak by stoppage, but this is a very even fight where Moret has the advantage of having made a better camp.

Crutchmer vs. Enkamp
Oliver Enkamp, SUB, R1
Crutchmer is a decorated wrestler, but Enkamp is much more dangerous with submissions, he has much better striking, he has more KO power and he has a reach advantage of 23 cm. Standing I can see Enkamp taking advantage of his Karate base and his enormous reach advantage, on the ground Crutchmer may have an opportunity looking to dominate the position, with not so ground & pound and most of all looking for the '' lay and pray '' like he did in their previous fight. But before Enkamp, being on the ground in the top position can lead you to end up subjected to an armbar or triangle choke.

Overall good card from Bellator tonight. Obviously the main event is the top fight be all the way through there are some interesting fights and fighters. Only fight that might not be that close is the Shabily/King fight.
