As you might know I'm Tapology Boxing editor. I know the majority of you guys are here for MMA, so was I originally. But for the last year or 2 there is a little more interest in Boxing on the site.
So here's a place to talk boxing.

Boxing is brutal!! Striking in general can be brutal, but pro boxing (or even amateur?) can really mess you up, all that head trauma..... Weight cutting and dehydration doesnt help... Its a tough path, they are brave to walk it

It sucks to see that he's in a care home now suffering from a brain injury received through the sport he loved! I heard about another great boxer from around his era suffering too, former P4P no. 1 Donald Curry.
It's just another harsh reality of combat sports, there are many, many other great fighters that suffer in their old age.
Why I feel , if you really do love combat sports, you should respect every man and woman who steps up for glory and our entertainment.
I understand that you can talk **** as a fan, and have a laugh of course. But underneath it all should be respect.
Anyway, I feel like this thread is turning into a sad place, ****** fighters suffering in old age, comas, ****** deaths!!!

He's definitely talented and the British amateurs have become some of the best in the world, just look at the amount of Olympic and World medals won nowadays compared to not so long ago. 2000, Audley Harrison gold was the 1st ever! Amir Khan Silver in 2004 made him a superstar! I bet you couldn't name the 6 medalists from 2020!
Anyway, about Mr Delicious, he could be good. Tough to tell until he actually makes the jump to the pros. I think he probably wants to be a part of the next Olympics, a great foundation for the pros, so we'll see.
