Alright folks, 

As you might know I'm Tapology Boxing editor. I know the majority of you guys are here for MMA, so was I originally. But for the last year or 2 there is a little more interest in Boxing on the site. 

So here's a place to talk boxing. 

I was about 10 when Toney fought Coutour so I wasn’t really into combat sport and more into Pokémon, I think at the time the only mma fighters I know was Rampage and Lesnar

I’m 21 years old now btw, and watch mma since about I was about 15

A little late for a 2021 review but this is well made and worth 90 minutes of your time. It covers everything from all the biggest fights, biggest upsets, KO's and a lot of stuff that you may have missed, things from the lighter weight classes, Asia, South America etc.

2021 really was a great year for boxing!  Maybe because of the **** show that was 2020, I think the same thing happened with MMA last year too. Some of my highlights were the Fury Wilder trilogy, all the Mexicans/Argentines coming over to England and destroying over rated guys(helped me win some cash from the bookies!) Usyk upsetting Joshua (also won me money!) Taylor becoming undisputed, Oscar Valdez destroying Berchelt, Canelo moving up to 168 and defeating 3 undefeated champions to become undisputed in a year, Gabe Rosado huge upset KO vs Bek the Bully, Kazuto Ioka masterclass vs Tanaka and my fight of the year Estrada vs Chocolatito, that would of been my top moment if Choco wasn't robbed!   I could go on!!  So many!!

Yeah yeah OK Mr. Stickler! ****** missed 2021 by a few hours!!!
I just like to mention the performance. Because Ioka was elite that day!!! 

I am indeed a smartass. I get what your saying though, great performance from Ioka.

Speaking of Ioka I am hearing strong rumours of a unification between Ioka and Chocolatito!!!  OH ****!!!!!

I both Absolutely love that fight because its a proper elite fight between 2 top 10 P4P Hall of Fame guys and don't because they are 2 of my favourite boxers and I don't want anyone to lose! 

That's a tough fight to call. Who do you think would win?

I'd say Chocolatito, but it's tough to write off Ioka. I really hope that fight happens

Yeah, I made the video. I am trying to focus on more content creation now. I did a MMA fan favorites survey in the past via this site, and that video was for the other. So yeah.

Your video was good. I loved the Thomas the Tank remix intro!!!  As for your list, it was very well researched and put together.
Also, it inspired me to watch Sweet Pea highlights for an hour yesterday!!! Ha

Spent this morning/afternoon watching this HBO broadcast from the Dela Hoya Vargas grudge match super fight from 2002.  
This was a huge fight at the time. I remember watching the tape delay on Sunday afternoon on the BBC, back when the BBC used to show boxing! 

Obviously being a young Scottish lad I never got to enjoy the HBO broadcasts, streams never existed back in the early 2000s!!! I always read and hear about how great the HBO broadcast was. Larry Merchant and Jim Lampley are very well regarded nowadays. I think it's well deserved. I have found a YouTube channel that posts full PPV HBO broadcasts so I will probably post a few more classic fights here. 

Also on this card you get to see a young Miguel Cotto in his 11th fight. We have Big George Foreman as the analyst fighter. Appearances from Julio Cesar Chavez and several celebrities from the time! 

About the fight, like I said this was a huge fight at the time and is still talked about today as 1 of the best grudge matches of the 2000s. Oscar was already a well established star, I know he is a bit of a Clown nowadays, but man Oscar de la Hoya the Fighter, I hold him in high regard. Man fought everybody, lots of wins, several losses, always took on the best. Look at this resume full of Hall of Fame guys, Chavez x2, Sweet Pea Whitaker, Felix Trinidad, Mayweather, Pacquiao, Mosley, Vargas, Quartey(all Hall of Fame guys!) I could go on!!!!! Oscar is a fruitcake but also he is an all time great fighter! He's at least top 100.
Fernando Vargas was a phenom!! A violent one at that!!! He blazed on to the scene and won a World Title days after his 21st birthday!!!  He was a Mexican American superstar quick! Unfortunately someone decided to throw him in with Felix Trinidad who done a lot of damage to the young fighter, many think broke his spirit! Even though Vargas gave Trinidad a great fight, dropping him and outboxing him at times. Anyway, Vargas was a Hot Head!!! You probably have seen him featured in YouTube compilation vids about Press conference fights!!!! Him vs Ricardo Mayorga is a classic (they started swinging at the press conference!) and also the De la Hoya press conference was spicy!!! 

I won't say anything about the actual fight in case I spoil the result, and I have ended up writing 10 paragraphs when I only intended to write 1 or 2!!!!!
