With Ariel Helwani gone from ESPN MMA, their value has dropped significantly, especially with the addition of silly shows like DC and RC. This brings up a question I find really interesting, which is what is the best MMA media publication right now. Here are my top 2 picks.
1. CBS Sports: Morning Kombat is the best program in sports right now. The chemistry that the two hosts Luke Thomas and Brian Campbell have is like nothing I have ever seen. The shenanigans these two portray have me on the verge of tears laughing every episode. BC's absolute childish ridiculousness is the perfect partner to Luke's snob. They also give interesting and nuanced breakdowns to everything important in combat sports.
2. BT Sport: Ever since BT Sport's acquisition of Ariel Helwani, I believe that they have been killing it when it comes to media coverage. They have some of the best analytical minds in MMA, Michael Bisping, Adam Catterall, Dan Hardy, and etc. I have been extremely impressed with what they have done in the past few months.
