He’s so much better than what he showed on contender series too. Idk what was wrong with him when he fought; must have been nerves or an injury cuz this dude looks like a world beater and is much more aggressive in all his other fights

He was probably worried about Diego taking him down. Idk..I agree though.

Surprised how many people are picking Buckley.
As soon as I saw the weigh-ins for Razak Alhassan's last fight, I backed him.
It was night and day difference in his physique, you could just tell he was taking it seriously and rounding back into form after being off so long from that trial and all. I'll take Judo Thunder at plus money all day.
The other fight that is very interesting is Pereira - Salikhov.
Pereira will have the reach, and size advantage, while Salikhov will have the gas tank edge.
It seems like Pereira does well against lower output strikers (where he has the SPM edge, as he does here), where when he faces strikers who throw alot, he struggles as he gasses quicker, ala Niko Price, still winning the fight but got very close.

Alhasaan has 1 way of winning. KO. New Mansa is a better striker and an all around better fighter.

Best bet for that would be ITD. Razak got pieced up by Mounir , steam rolled by Khaos and then pieced up by Malkoun..

I think razak wins easy. he switched to factory x (if not that I know it was some camp in Colorado) so his cardio will improve and even though it sucks, he does have that judo background, which already makes him more well rounded than Buckley. I think Buckley is more athletic but alhassan is the more well rounded fighter. I think alhassan has the better chin and definitely has the power advantage; ive seen Buckley ko'ed now 3 times so it makes me question his chin just a little bit, especially against someone like alhassan

I think that losing streak was due to personal ****. also hes very small for MW but is facing a guy who's now the exact same height as him

Yeah razak has way more power than Buckley , Buckley won't ever do anything better in his career than the impa ko, and also I can't believe ufc let impa go

ya that release made no sense. losing on a highlight reel ko doesn't say anything about your skill and Carlton Harris is a really good fighter. there's much worse guys still on the roster too. its not like impa was old either

Yes. Been watching tape again. Going back and forth but think he could finish Algeo, possibly by sub. Worried bout his cardio though, so it will likely not happen in the third.

I dont think his cardio is that bad but it is definitely a worry because algeo can push his pace for three rounds. the fights ive seen brito go the distance he hasn't looked tired which is good tho. sub is definitely a possibility as thats the only way algeo has been finished, plus brito is nasty on the ground; definitely more likely than a ko. Also algeos takedown defense is very bad, so he could get controlled on the ground

im gonna back salikhov here as its incredibly difficult to beat him in a striking match, never actually been done in fact (both losses by sub).Michel is a pretty solid grappler but its very hard to takedown salkihov. salikhov was an incredibly good kickboxer and was also a 5 time champ in wushu sanda so he has a very high striking pedigree. If you watch a lot of his fights, he might not be very high output, but hes very calculated in his striking and waits for opportunities to throw shots. He also really likes spin kicks. pereira is the weirdest striker hes fought but as we've seen Michel grow as a fighter he has started to move away from doing somersaults and backflips during fights, which I think will be disadvantageous here as it gives muslim less to think about on the feet.

@ayyy

Yeah I can't blame you. I feel the odds are pretty much spot on in that fight...opened pick em and Pereira is around -125, so still basically pick 'em. I am a Pereira fan, but that may be a fight to watch...it feels like it has a split decision written all over it. Salikhov is starting to get old, probably my only knock against him right now. Maybe bet the over, but we'll have to see where it opens, I'm terrible at over/unders and try to stay away from those haha

I like the over and I agree with you on the age. He hasn’t looked terrible but he is facing the much younger guy. I like the over as salikhov has been going to decision a lot recently and Michel has an iron chin (one ko loss in what will be his 41st fight). Wont be surprised if Michel wins tho

Card got 15 slots tho so I think your boy lied to you. Unless by ugly your referring to ugly man from contender series so unless a MW pulls out then he’s probably not on the card

Ohhhh, very interesting. He could fill in for either MW fight on the card without there being a massive gap in skill level too
