I have to stay loyal to MA but I’m also leaning Giga although I think kattar will put up a much better fight than people are thinking and might even win. I think one thing people are overlooking is for as good a kickboxer as Giga is, kattar is just as good a boxer; just because kickboxing has more variations in striking doesn’t mean boxing is ineffective. For gigas body kicks Calvin has a laser of a jab

I don't think it'll be a shut out. Just think stand up wise , Giga is better. It'll definitely be close but if it goes the distance 3-2 Giga. I'll give the first to Calvin and maybe a later round if he pressures. But if he allows Giga to keep the distance it'll be bad.

Well yea obviously Giga is the better striker but I’m just saying each has their power strike. The body shot for Giga and the jab for kattar. From what I’ve seen so far, kattar is good at fighting close range. Also who knows what improvements he’s made on this time off. I know it’s silly but we saw Ortega improve tenfold after getting dominated by max, maybe kattar is new and improved

To be fair, tj brown did get subbed while in side control and shouldn’t have won his last fight. He is 100% offense and 0% defense. His path to victory is Benitez’s poor tdd. Brown gives his neck up a lot when going for takedowns and also is quite hittable

I'll stay on Moggly. TJ has a padded record and still lost to cans. He hasn't proved anything yet. Goodluck.

Also , DK giving out free bets. Get em while you can.

It’s not even the record for me, it’s how hittable tj is along with his fight iq. Benitez is not someone you want to brawl with and is also dangerous everywhere the fight goes which I really don’t like considering how many times I see tj give his neck up for a choke when taking people down.

Kattar vs. Chikadze
Giga Chikadze, DEC
Calvin's one big problem is that he's a centerline striker. It helps him against opponents who aren't used to dealing with his long-range attacks, but Giga's kickboxing pedigree will come to his aid here, and I think he'll attack the body, use angles and win by decision if not by a late body-shot TKO.

Pereira vs. Salikhov
Michel Pereira, DEC
Michel starts incredibly strong and exhausts himself. All comes down to how the final 6 or 7 minutes go, and I don't think Salikhov does enough to earn a stoppage.

Royval vs. Bontorin
Brandon Royval, SUB, R2
I don't think Bontorin will keep up with the pace of Royval, while occassionally getting a big shot or two in. It won't be enough in the long run, even if it hurts Brandon in the moment.

Brahimaj vs. McGee
Ramiz Brahimaj, DEC
Pretty slick grappler, I reckon he stifles Court for the decision.

The thing about court is , he has been finished once by a prime Ponzinibio , and he also has decent wrestling himself. So I can see why the line is so tight. I think Brahimaj takes it to decision but I get the close odds.

He may be able to pull off a sub , but I think it'll have to be early. Court can go all day long for the most part.

McGee is too durable to be finished imo but brahimaj should be better everywhere. Let’s not forget McGee lost 30-27 to an ancient Carlos condit lol

Tbf, Algeo has never been finished by TKO/KO. Think Brito either wins a decision or sub.

see I was originally thinking that, especially because algeo can take a punch, but after watching Brito tape I think a ko is pretty possible. When algeo rushes in, he leaves himself very open to being hit. For Brito's striking, he throws very powerful hooks so I could see him clipping algeo when he goes in for a blitz. While his contender series debut was very very underwhelming (I was honestly very unimpressed) after watching his tape outside the ufc I totally get why dana was on the guy; this dude hits like a ******* truck and has very serious one-punch ko power. His BJJ is nasty too. Algeo has one hell of a chin but hes also never been hit by someone who hits as hard as brito. You're probably right that algeo doesn't get koed but judging from what ive seen out of brito I think a ko is pretty likely.

That is very true. I think I'll play it safe with a double victory (TKO/KO/Sub).
