I think Giga finishes him. He doesn't block his body and when he throws in combos he never brings his hands back to guard his head. I think Giga will obliterate the body and have him worried like max did. If you rewatch the max fight , he was flinching for everything. He didn't know what to block..

The 5th round was Kattar's highest strikes landed, highest accuracy, and third most thrown. So even if Ige just got worse defensively as the rounds progressed, Kattar at least kept up his same output.

Brown vs. Benítez
Gabriel Benítez, TKO, R2
If Moggly comes in with a good weight cut I don't see this happening any other way than pure domination. TJ brown isn't good enough of a wrestler to control the AKA strandout, and Moggly's strikes are so much harder than Kai's and much faster. I'll probably put this on my DK lineup when the times comes because I expect multiple knockdowns given how tough TJ is and how often he gets knocked down (even in wins) and how often Moggly gets knock downs. Brown is gonna get clipped at some point and get finished, probably not a clean KO though.

osama you would think kattar realizes that giga's best weapon is his body kicks tho no? Tyson chartier is a great coach and I would think that they would game plan this. To win Kattar will have to pressure him and not keep giga at range to negate his kicks. Giga is usually. the one controlling the pace so if he gets pressured in the pocket I think Kattar will have success

Possible but it's only the assumption. He can expect anything he wants from Giga, he will still have a hard time with kicks because of the feints.
Kattar always has problems against guys who move a lot. He struggled to pressure Renato and Zabit effectively, he found some success in the third round against Zabit but we all know about his cardio, it was the main reason.
EDIT: I ****** up a bit, wanted to add something in the first edit but deleted the inicial text.

I would hope man. Just like we hoped Wonderboy would stuff takedowns and learn some counter wrestling after the Burns fight.

well yeah but learning how to block shots and stuff takedowns/ground game are two very different things. Its much easier to learn how to block a shot then stuffing takedowns from a wrestler

I haven’t even watched kattar tape yet so I’ll give my two cents on how he does in certain matchups when I’m done

I do know for a fact that a lot of his struggle against moicano was the leg kicks not so much the movement. Obviously, moicano has hood movement but being a boxer, when your leg gets destroyed with kicks it stops you from throwing your power shots and also hinders your movement. He did just fine against a very active Andre fili; also zabit has some of the most unorthodox movement out of anyone. He’s an elite FW so I’m not surprised kattar had problems against him

I agree. Think Giga might take that route if he watches tapes on his opponents losses considering giga is the best KB in his division if not the whole ufc lol

With the massive improvements Giga has made in just 7 ufc fights I wouldn’t be surprised. I feel like that was a one off performance for kattar tho cuz I haven’t seen him hurt by leg kicks like that before or after that fight

Gonna definitely be a good ass fight , for sure. Think I'm just leaning more towards Giga because he could use the kicks to keep distance and ****. Gonna be a back and forth war for a couple rounds , for sure. Think whoever gasses , the other will have to capitalize for a finish.
