Bryan Barberena demonstrated his seniority by attacking well with leg kicks and managing to stand up quickly when Weeks succeeded in completing his takedown attempts. Although Barberena has suffered two dire situations in his career such as the Injury to his neck during the fight against Randy Brown and having an emergency surgery before being able to fight Daniel Rodriguez. Barabarena has always been a tough guy, long-time the Step-before WW Top 15 gatekeeper with interesting wins against fighters like Jake Ellenberger, Super Sage and Alves. In addition to competitive fights against Chad Laprise, Leon Edwards and Vicente Luque. Hopefully UFC reschedule his fight against Matt Brown.
Weeks showed very interesting things and the most important thing is that today he got a lot of experience: he has to work on defense against leg kicks and his cardio was affected in the last round most likely by taking the fight on Short-Notice.
