Dep, I do have to disagree in ridells boxing being better; there are very few people, if any that can match fiziev’s caliber of striking. The dude is the striking coach at tiger Muay Thai. But that doesn’t mean ridell will lose to him. I’m more thinking ridell wins due to gas tank and wrestling

@AyyLmaonnaise, your right man. My MMA analysis is so/so, I just watch a few clips here and there so I'm not the best at figuring out a fighter's strengths. I mainly choose winners based on how I feel about a certain fighter and where their career is going headed.

For example, back when Gane first appeared in the UFC, I knew this guy was going to be a champion. Same thing goes with Adesanya and others, there are certain fighters who just have a certain aura about them. Khamzat Chimaev is another guy who has that same aura where you know he is going to be a star.

Nothing wrong with that, I analyzed and taped last weeks card and ended up going 3-8 lol. If u feel confident in a fighter then there’s nothing wrong with thinking they are gonna win

@AyyLmaonnaise, another example of that whole "energy" thing. My most confident pick for the Oliveira vs Poirier card is Randy Costa. Ever since I saw Randy debut in the UFC, I said this guy is another stud. Of course, when he was matched up against another star in Adrian Yanez, one of them was bound to lose but he put up a hell of a fight with Yanez.

I don't even need to do any analysis for Costa's fight against Tony Kelley. -198 on Randy Costa is free money.

Randy Costa has only been past round 2 twice and both times has lost. Not saying Kelley will win at all, I haven't done my proper tape study on that fight yet. What I do know is that Kelley is very durable and quite well-rounded so if it gets past round 1 and Costa fades as he generally does, is he that safe of a bet then?

@AscendantMMA, I don't think there will be a 2nd round in that fight. Costa will TKO him in the 1st round.

Then again, it's MMA you know anything can happen but I'm going to go heavy on him. You are right that Costa tends to fade later on in fights though.

I feel that dep, the ufc wouldn’t sign costa at 4-0 if they didn’t think he had something. If he works on gas tank and a ground game I think he will be a future contender

And on the topic of most confident fights. I think Bruno silva at ufc 269 is my most confident; his fight is literally a mismatch and I think he sparks Wright in under a minute

Fair enough. For me I don’t mind the theatrics. My biggest pet peeve is missing weight, so I’m pretty missed about that and I really hope he doesn’t do it again. I think zhumagulov definitely has a chance, but kape is much more skilled imo, so I’m going with him.

Thankfully, he hasn’t been as wild in the ufc. Because I’ve seen him eat some massive shots and also compromise himself multiple times in rizin for no good reason other than he was just being a **** to the other fighter

Definitely agree with Manel being more skilled, going to be very interesting. I love the fight game though man its so unpredictable at the same time anything could happen \.

Zhalgas will lose every round. Can bet the house on it. Complete mismatch skill wise. He won't even get close to a submission. Manel has face higher level grapplers in Rizin. Think he gets the finish Rd 2 or coasts to a 30-27 decision.

Idk wins over one guy in the top 15, one guy outside the top 15, and a former ufc title challenger who is still one of the best flyweights in the world makes me a little hesitant to say it’s a complete mismatch. I think kape should win but I don’t think it will be completely one sided. His fight iq may make the fight closer than anyone would like

If he doesn't get the TD like he's going to want , it'll be one sided. Also , Zhalgas submitted someone who's never won in the ufc , lol. You get no credit really for that. Definitely a good fight , but Jerome isn't UFC material and never was.
