@rappin no, I think he'll be able to keep Belal at enough distance to turn it into a point striking match like he wants.

No way, belal isn’t a wrestler and is severely outclassed on the feet. This feels like such an easy fight for wonderboy and also a massive step up in competition for belal. We saw what happens when he fights a top WW (leon, Vicente) so I don’t think he will fare well here. Hell, Geoff Neal almost ko’ed his ass and look how easy wonderboy peiced up neal (not saying mma math works just something to look at)

Basically, wonderboy doesn’t really lose to other strikers. Look at how he destroyed luque and “prime” masvidal. Both great strikers in their own right got completely nullified by wonderboys striking. If belal couldn’t figure out the puzzle against neal and luque then I don’t expect him to figure out one of the most complicated strikers in the ufc

Elkins vs. Swanson
Cub Swanson, DEC
LFG! Two tough mofo’s who know how to fight. Should be FOTN for sure. Swanson has a tough chin, so I don’t think an Elkins comeback is possible. We’ll see, but I’m taking Cub by UD.

Lemos vs. Hill
Amanda Lemos, TKO, R2
Amanda is a decent grappler who has recently developed her striking. Hill has good TD defense so I think Lemos will get it done with strikes.

Tafa is ******

Predictions: 9 of 13 Winners, 1 Perfect, 505 Points   |   Tied for 2453rd

Really…? Really??? We’re doing this again???

Did you guys learn nothing from Yorgan De Castro? Having heavy hands and literally nothing else doesn’t automatically determine you as the victor. As harsh as it sounds, Justin Tafa is a much slower, much less skilled Tai Tuivasa. And I mean far less skilled. All his does is stand high and tall, his chin up the air, fists clenched below his nipples, inching slowly forward like a slug with cerebral palsy. His hands are heavy but he rarely throws them offensively and becomes a human punching bag as a result. And unlike Tuivasa, he doesn’t have the truly devastating leg kicks to help set up his punches, which is what Tai used to knock out Harry in their fight. I’d thought after Tafa’s bout with Jared people would catch on the guy is overhyped for literally no reason. His biggest victory is Juan “The Can” Adams for ****’s sake. But no, the UFC is still somehow able to dig up the absolute bottom of the barrel contenders for braindead heavy hitters like Yorgan and Tafa just to add something, ******* anything to this cluster**** wasteland of talent that is the heavyweight division.

But with all that said, do I really believe Harry, a guy who got finished in his DWCS shot, and was brought in on short notice as a sacrificial lamb to a Hawaiian shoe drinking orc, is going to beat Tafa? Ab-so-*******-lutely. I think Tafa will get wrestle****** and submitted, in fact. Harry may have earned a reputation as a braindead kill or be killed brawler, but he actually has more submission wins on his resume than knockouts. If he cares about staying in the UFC, Harry will resort to desperate matters and take Tafa’s helpless ass to the ground and submit him immediately. Sure, Harry’s wins may only consist of gutter trash, but so does Tafa. I see a sad and depressingly one sided assbeating by Harry in this one.

@Sabbath, you may be right about this pick.  Hunsucker via R1 Sub will be like +1300 or something like that.  I'm definately going to throw something on that.

I also have Stephen Thompson and Derrick Lewis as my own locks for this card.  Have to do more research for the others.

Lewis vs. Daukaus
Derrick Lewis, TKO, R2
I keep forgetting to keep up with my account so I have to start predicting early so I can get some points. I’m a Philly guy man but I think Chris has met his match, he would be able to just land at will on Lewis as he has in the past, he will have resistance he hasn’t faced ever (even in his KO losses). Lewis is susceptible to getting landed on at anything but he’s not easy to finish and he’s one of the best at winning as a “wounded animal”. I got Daukaus landed first but Lewis finishing but won’t be shocked if “The Great Chris” as I call him, wins by KO

This main event is so conflicting for me. Massive step up for daukaus but this is a matchup that Lewis should lose on paper; like all his fights are

Daukus has way higher fight IQ. Lewis has nothing but power. He doesn't pop jabs , nothing. Just hooks. I think daukus will finish him Rd 2 if he mixes his shots to the body. Lewis doesn't like those. But , best bet would be to have the fight ITD.

Well yeah no way this fight goes the distance lol. I agree daukaus is the future of HW but I’m just a little uneasy that he was getting ko’ed on the regional scene just two years ago. I’m still going with daukaus but I think Lewis is very live

Lewis doesn't fight. He will sit around and get punched on and just wait for that power hook..it won't happen. The way daukus flows on his feet and his power. He will pick apart Lewis.

And Zulu is levels about lewis. Another Philly boy. I'd watch tape on him too so you can understand why or how. Dude is so crisp and sharp. Daukus also is a whole different fighter than he was 2-3 years ago.
