Ferreira vs. Gamrot
Diego Ferreira, DEC
Easy money. Gamrot's top control is ****, he's not strong enough to take and hold Carlos down, he's just not heavy from top. Diego is a lot better grappler. Mateusz is a very good wrestler but not amazing, many of his shots are easy to read and Diego's TDD is underrated, Ferreira is also definitely stronger. Cheater Gamrot is also not good at stabilizing top position, Diego will have enough space to create a scramble and get back up or reverse position. On the feet, Mateusz is faster and his straight punches are good, he moves a lot, but Diego hits harder and his bodyshots will make a diference. He's also a better kicker. Cardio won't be a factor because Gamrot will be on the back foot and CDF will target his body, he will probably stuff a lot of his takedown attempts.

I think you are forgetting the fact that Diego has like a 60% chance to miss weight this fight? Plus even if he does make weight, hes gonna gas from the cut regardless plus hes 36 going up against a guy who's practically 20-0 in his peak physical prime. Also I know its Jeremey stephens but he literally made it look effortless to sub him and thats a guy who has fought Charlie olives. Not to mention stephens is one of the most durable fighters on the roster.

Yes, the factors you mentioned may be important. But Diego almost always looks bad at weigh-in, but that doesn't affect his performance. Perhaps apart from his last fight, but note that Gillespie pushes a relentless pace in scrambles. Gamrot isn't this type of fighter. I mean he's a good scrambler but his pace is nowhere near as good as Gregor's, his top control is also much worse, not mention g'n'p. And these aren't factors that are able to change my prediction, because while taking them out I don't see much of Gamrot's chances. Diego is simply a much better fighter. I mean, Gamrot clearly lost to Guram, he looked like a bum from the top position if you compare him to Ferreira.
Also, CDF had a competitive fight against Beneil Dariush, 9 months ago. And Beneil is levels above Gamrot.

Ferreira didn't look great in his last outing, and even Kutateladze told Gamrot he thought the decision was ******** after the fight, in the cage, on mic, so I don't know what you're smoking if you forgot about that. Gamrot by typical dominant decision is the pick, UNLESS Ferreira walks out to Footloose.

I don't know how you can score this fight for Gamrot tbh, explain it to me. He lost the first two rounds pretty clearly, Guram was much more effective striker (Damage, impact, harder blows = effective striking, not numbers), and Gamrot did nothing on the ground apart from non-scoring short punches. Guram's opinion (He probably thought he lost because the fight was harder for him than he expected) can't change the fact that he was a better fighter that night.

I think Gamrot - Kutateladze fight is an example that points out the fact that scoring needs improvements. I mean first round was  15-11 for gamrot in sig. strikes, 25-12 in total strikes, 1-0 in takedowns and 1:01 to 0:00 in ground control. So it says he had striking advantage, he took down and controlled which is quite dominant, but Guram had slightly harder strikes, but Gamrot wasn't hurt by them.

Numbers can't tell you the whole story and 15-11 in significant strikes isn't really a big adventage.

Takedown doesn't really mean much without effective work from top position. They were both in the guard (50/50 position), it wasn't dominant at all, especially when they both had submission attempts, Guram also with a rubber gard.

“Legal blows that have immediate or cumulative impact with the potential to contribute towards the end of the match with the IMMEDIATE weighing in more heavily than the cumulative impact. Successful execution of takedowns, submission attempts, reversals and the achievement of advantageous positions that produce immediate or cumulative impact with the potential to contribute to the end of the match, with the IMMEDIATE weighing more heavily than the cumulative impact.” It shall be noted that a successful takedown is not merely a changing of position, but the establishment of an attack from the use of the takedown. Top and bottom position fighters are assessed more on the impactful/effective result of their actions, more so than their position. This criterion will be the deciding factor in a high majority of decisions when scoring a round.

Guard is not a 50/50 position, the fighter on top is credited with control. Come on dude be real.

I respect the confident but come on man. Gamrot is a different breed. Look at Diego’s record, he literally only loses to elite fighters; poirier twice, dariush twice, and Gregor gillespie. You may not agree because of that guram fight, but weather you like it or not, pretty much everyone thought he won. I think you are actually the only person I have seen who thinks he lost that fight.

I don't think it ******** to pick either Gamrot or CDF in this fight, But I think it ******** to call someone ******** for chosing one side, It just a good fight, And that what most people hear are doing, Darksheep shouldn't get this hate, I have to say something, it piss me off how so many people think Carlos is a bum, It just wrong and if you think Carlos is not good, You don't know what you are watching, Plan and simple, Gamrot is good, But he haven't fought anybody that good yet and Carlos is a  step up

I don't think either Gamrot or Carlos should be a higher then a -150 favourte
