Predictions: 5 of 11 Winners, 0 Perfect, 265 Points   |   Tied for 2540th

Holloway vs. Rodriguez
Max Holloway, TKO, R4
Holloway will be in his boxing distance the entire fight and the question here is if this fight is goin to te distance or Holloway will take the TKO in the 3 rd or 4th round

Rothwell vs. Rogério de Lima
Ben Rothwell, SUB, R2
Rogerio 0 cardio Rothwell has more volume with better defense

Spencer vs. Letson
Felicia Spencer, SUB, R2
Spencer has the advantage on the grappling and both are aimilar in the bad striking(Spencer more durable here too)

Baeza vs. Williams
Khaos Williams, TKO, R1
Baeza is not a good fighter under pressure(Brown, Ponzi..) if Khaos bring the khaos on this fight we will see a quick fight

Song vs. Arce
Yadong Song, DEC
In my opinionnArce has better striking(kickboxing) but Song is the agressive fighter and he has the speed so I think this will be another Decision for Song

Moisés vs. Alvarez
Thiago Moisés, DEC
Joel needs to keep the fight on the feet, making pressure, keeping the distance and dont let Moises push him to the cage. I think Moises can take advantage of the 0 wrestling of Joel and win this bybdecision

Calvillo vs. Lee
Cynthia Calvillo, DEC
Andre Lee is more skilful but allways make mistakes that costs her the fights. Probably Calvillo can take advantage of that even being a 0 striker but is more intelligent in my opinion

Woodson vs. Anglin
Sean Woodson, DEC
Boxing to the distance

Casey vs. Jojua
Liana Jojua, SUB, R3
Casey hasnt in his prime, Jojua needs to.improve and she has the advantage in grappling and in the physique

Diakiese vs. Alves
Marc Diakiese, DEC
Alves haa the power and basic combinations. He's better in BJJ than Diakese of course but this will be a stand up and Diakese has more akills to win this fight on the distance

Nzechukwu vs. Jung
Kennedy Nzechukwu, TKO, R2
In the stand up fight, Nzechukwu has the volume, pace and durabilty to be succesful in this one. Knight was smashed cause he lost his balance(wasnt takedowns for Jung). Nzechukwu only lost against Paul Craig by an error. Im goin woth Nzechukwu

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 4 of 11 Winners, 1 Perfect, 240 Points   |   Tied for 2837th

Holloway vs. Rodriguez
Max Holloway, TKO, R4
Max Holloway - Max is the GOAT at Featherweight. Seriously... what else do you need?

Rothwell vs. Rogério de Lima
Ben Rothwell, SUB, R2
Ben Rothwell - This isn't super straight forward. de Lima has got some hands and can get the big guys down. Thing is, this is Big Ben and Big Ben can take a ******* shot and give one back via crazy-angled should-never-work-but-some-how-does uppercut. I think Rothwell gets it done, maybe on points but there's a good chance he get de Lima against the cage and gets one of those ten-finger-lock submissions he's caught a few people with.

Spencer vs. Letson
Felicia Spencer, SUB, R1
Felicia Spencer - This is a no brainer. Her opponant hasn't stepped into the cage since 2018 after coming in second on one of the worst seasons of TUF in the history books. They both have similar styles, punch you into the cage, grind out a take down and look for either a subby or for some G&P. This is Felicia's in the bag ALL DAY and I'm feeling kind of lucky (take that with a grain of salt, last weekend I felt lucky and got a bunch wrong), I think she finishes her inside one by submission.

Baeza vs. Williams
Miguel Baeza, DEC
Miguel Baeza - Both Miguel and Khaos have had the blueprint to be beaten exposed in their last few fights. With Khaos you have to Wonderboy him a bit - loads of feints, brutalise that front leg to take away his power and cut angles, never throw anything unnecessary (something Miguel can do). With Miguel you have to be in his face, give him no room to read shots and apply enough pressure to get him too busy dealing with combinations to throw his own back and score points (something Khaos does not do). I think Khaos can only really get a KO if Miguel lets him, otherwise this is Baeza's fight.

Song vs. Arce
Julio Arce, DEC
Julio Arce - Now this is a tough one 'cause Song Yadong will win fights even when he loses them. I can promise you this, there will be judges involved in this fight. Both these fellas are tough. Song takes a shot like an e-thot takes a 15 incher. Arce slips shots like some our friends to the east slip small talk before asking for marriage, bobs and vagene. He has some of the best head movement I've ever seen in MMA. I think Arce can get enough damage timing his shots, not exploding 'til necessary and pick up the dub. Don't this lightly though, Song Yadong could pulling this off by sheer "*** how did he win!?" esc scorecards.

Moisés vs. Alvarez
Thiago Moisés, DEC
Thiago Moises - This is a simple simple simple mission for Thiago: DON'T ******* GRAPPLE. Keep this fight on the feet, chop at the lead leg of Alvarez, don't clinch, stay in the open. Thiago can throw as many kicks as he likes, Alverez needs Thiago to take him down to get the submission, not the other way round. This is Thiago's to lose, here's hoping he's not r e t a r d e d .

Calvillo vs. Lee
Cynthia Calvillo, DEC
Cynthia Calvillo - Look, I spent three hours going through Andrea's fights for her to give me any reason to back her here. I think she's a really good all-rounder and I want her to win as her split loss to Murphy was absolute bollocks and her split loss to JoJo was super close. But Cynthia clearly enjoys being locked in that cage more. She also has phenominal control in the grappling department. Lee is strong and not easy to take down, but Calvillo just doesn't give up until she's got one, and when she does - good luck getting up! I don't think Calvillo subs Lee so I'm going for points.

Woodson vs. Anglin
Sean Woodson, TKO, R2
Sean Woodson - This one is an interesting one. Collin Anglin trains close by and his teammate Zalal was the last guy to step in the cage with Woodson. Anglin has the benefit of hindsight on his side. Anglin will 100% want to take this fight to the ground, maybe look for a submission, but most likely look for as many minutes of control time as he can get. Woodson however has an excellent, allusive, almost Anderson Silva-esc like striking style. Constantly throwing feints, moving and peppering 60%ers with the occasional 90%er in between. Against the cage he's very difficult to take down. He has a ton of accuracy and a top notch non-telegraphed flying knee to boot. I think Anglin is going to burn a lot of energy trying to force a wrestling exchange, he's going to get clipped a bunch and I think we'll see a stoppage inside the distance.

Casey vs. Jojua
Cortney Casey, DEC
Cortney Casey - There are so many frustrating things about Casey when reviewing her tape. She's always gonna have the height and reach advantage against her opponants at Strawweight and Flyweight and she has pretty dependable stand up. Her 9-9 record doesn't reflect her abilities, it reflects her mistakes. Casey has a habit of pulling guard and spending too much time on her back. Even though she's hunting for submissions and not getting badly damaged, it looks ******* terrible for the judges. That being said, Jojua isn't that good - not by UFC standards anyway. Casey hasn't lost more than two on the bounce her entire career and a bunch of her loses were close split decisions against very good fighters. I think she can get this done. Most likely a decision but considering Jojua hasn't seen a round 3 and has only been to round 2 once in her UFC tenure, I can't be too sure.

Diakiese vs. Alves
Marc Diakiese, DEC
Marc Diakiese - I'll get my biases out the way now; Marc is a fellow Brit and I do have a hard time going against him. This, however, is his fight to lose. Alves starts quick, throws bombs and tries to get you to shot so he can wrap up a guillotine. Thing is, he gasses 'ARD about mid way through the second. If Diakiese can survive the early onslaught, hold his own and keep him at kicking distance, this fight should be in the bag. Likely to be a close finish providing he doesn't get tapped in the first or early second.

Nzechukwu vs. Jung
Kennedy Nzechukwu, TKO, R3
Kennedy Nzechukwu - The first fight of the night and it's one of the more contentious and risky picks, which is a bit of a bummer. Anyway, Jung is probably the better fighter and has a boat load of reasons to be the favourite, but here's the problem: Nzechukwu is hard to take down, and even harder to keep down. Jung has a decent grecko-roman base but does hold his own in the stand up. I think he's going to look to do to Kennedy what he did to Knight and hold him down for 3 rounds and utterly brutalise him. The problem is that this takes a lot out of the gas tank and Kennedy is very good at keeping composed when down on the scorecards and punching a hole in his fatigued opponant's face. I think we're looking at a late stoppage here.

"Seeking that perfect prediction for bants and bragging rights (and hopefully a little extra cash)."
