Smith had a bit of an issue on the scales, looked like **** and seemed to try messing with the towel (the old DC trick!). Fowler looked good and confident. I think there's a good reason why Team McGuigan felt confident in taking this fight. Smith's not going to go away easy, far from it! I think this is going to be a gruelling fight. But I think Fowler is fitter, stronger, younger and hits harder! Late stoppage for Fowler! Not confident tho, maybe 60/40?

Son of a Liverpool Boxing legend, fighting in his home town in front of a big crowd. Also coming off a fight of the Year and looking to get straight back to Title contention. Conway is not a big enough puncher to get the stoppage that I feel he needs, hometown judging is a real thing!!! All those factors have me taking Metcalf here

I am sticking with Liam Smith at -150. He has a delicious back mount and a leaden bicycle kick. Smith might penetrate the cycle.
Dacres vs. Sokolowski
I prefer Solomon Dacres at -650. He has a ultrasonic mentality and an eccentric kouchi gari. Dacres could grind the victory.
Cheeseman vs. Williamson
I believe in Ted Cheeseman at -175. He has a laudable overhand and a proficient dragon sleeper and also a scintillating takedown. Cheeseman will hamper the underdog.
Conway vs. Metcalf
I lean towards Kieron Conway at -220. He has a uppity stamina. Conway must zonk the canvas.
Charlton vs. Willis
I am all about Rylan Charlton at -140. He has a killer oshi-dashi. Charlton won't bury the opposing forces.
Courtenay vs. Mitchell
I adopt Shannon Courtenay at -300. She has a yappy crossface. Courtenay must bother the rival.

I try not to pick people who are fighting on the same card as someone who knocked them out, so I can't pick Metcalf since Cheeseman just KO'd him. I just feel like being around someone who KO'd you at the presser, weigh-ins, etc has to be bad mentally leading up to a fight
