Brett Johns has gone the distance with Pedro Munhoz and Aljo back in the UFC his most recent loss was against a great grappler in Danny Sabatello, Erik himself is not necessarily a "mediocre fighter" it's just that Brett is very tricky and he is looking to bounce back so I think this fight will be a back and forth affair with Brett getting the better of Erik and getting the nod from the judges.

Surprised a majority are picking Anderson here, much less by knockout. Anderson has only knocked out Walker which was an aberration. Bader hits harder and has more of a chin.

I think that despite being 38 years old, all circumstances are in favor of Ryan Bader: Bader has had many fights at 5 rounds, while Anderson has only done it 3 times (in the first two he was knocked out in the first round). Bader has enough wrestling to defend the takedowns of Corey Anderson, in the past he could only be controlled on the ground by Jon Jones and Rumble Johnson and that mainly because Bader sought to bring the fight to the ground using his wrestling this caused for Jones to do counters takedowns and for Rumble with the sprawl to get the top position. At striking Bader is clearly the best and most powerful striker compared to Anderson. Prediction: Bader by Knockout the first round (specifically he will put Anderson to sleep with the fake-jab hook with which he knocked out King Mo and Fedor in the Grand-Prix).
