Prediction Comments

Predictions: 11 of 14 Winners, 3 Perfect, 640 Points   |   Tied for 1419th

Usman vs. Covington II
Kamaru Usman, DEC
The odds are a joke. Kamaru has more changes of Knockim out? Yes. He improve since the first fight? Of course. But men, even winning the 5th round Kamaru it would be a SDec by the judges so Colby should be a better version on the striking this time too. So the significant strikes and gameplan will be bypart of Kamaru, but teally close fight IMO

Namajunas vs. Zhang II
Rose Namajunas, DEC
The rematches between 6 months of difference (in this case) never changes the result too much. However if Zhang put pressure, clinch, real leg kicks since the first moment this could be good by the chinese. However when u see Rose vs Zhang the first time u see the huge different on the movement. For me thats the key of this match, the precision, timing... But this one shoulf be more difficult

Edgar vs. Vera
Marlon Vera, DEC
Coin flip. This fight will be depends of the Fighters's plan and in the execution of that plan. I mean if the fight keeps on the feet and in the distance and pace of Chito(leg kicks, boxing long distance, elbows counterattaking) the win is for Chito but if he Edgar can mixed his good boxing with the wrestling he can win this at the distance. Despite of Im going with Chito cause I see more probable than he can knock out Edgar too

Burgos vs. Quarantillo
Shane Burgos, DEC
Yes, Quarantillo is a pressure fighter, but is as pressure fighter as Burgos? I really doubt it. Remenbering the fight vs Emmet,Kattar... Men this guy eat the shots, good boxing but mor important he keeps the pace(superior pace than Billy)the entire fight. And with great TD Defense that makes Quarantillo be on the feet

Gaethje vs. Chandler
Justin Gaethje, TKO, R2
Both need to be more intelligent. However in the exchange I see with more changes to Gaethje to take the win cause the resources, power in the striking and durability(chin, cutting weight, historial)

Michailidis vs. Pereira
Alex Pereira, TKO, R1
Great fight for Pereira. The greek fighter has an interesting background in wrestling and bjj but he is more confortable on the feet. And Pereira has an Iq Fight and power on the striking of another.level in this division. It looks like a 1st round Ko by Pereira

Iaquinta vs. Green
Bobby Green, DEC
Iaquinta vs Hooker looker slow af Green if he is intelligent will win this in a.stand up match and putting the pace to win this by dec

Hawes vs. Curtis
Phil Hawes, TKO, R1
Curtis a guy who recently competed against cans in WELTER facing Hawes who is a Top 20 middleweight? This is mma and dont get me wrong good boxing by Curtis but... Im betting the house in this one

Shahbazyan vs. Imavov
Nassourdine Imavov, DEC
If Shahbazyan pass the 1st round he downs his level so much and Imavov is a durable and omplete fighter whose best rounds are the 2nd and the 3rd

Williams vs. Garry
Ian Garry, DEC
Williams looks so bad in welter, without soul and the irish is a complete fighter.good grappling and he will keep the fight on his wprld

Villante vs. Barnett
Gian Villante, DEC
This fight is a bad joke.

Jacoby vs. Allan
Dustin Jacoby, TKO, R1
The strikung difference is there. And the pace and pressure.too so it should be a standup fight who Jacoby must.be intelligent and win without overconfdence and be clinical

Baghdasaryan vs. Souza
Melsik Baghdasaryan, TKO, R1
Karate guy vs a Killer. Souza is in. Agreat level of BJJ but he hasnt a good takedown and Baghdasaryan is in anlther level opower pace

Vergara vs. Osbourne
C.J. Vergara, TKO, R1
This will be a ending. Im going with Vergara cause Osbourne doesnt know to defend

I'm really worried about Frankie in this fight. I don't think he has a killer instinct like Vera, and his only path to victory is to hold Chito for 15 mins. Chito is tied with TJ Dillashaw for most finishes at BW and he did it in 4 fewer fights. He's a savage and he's improved so much since he started with the UFC. I think the only reason people are giving Frankie a chance is because he smashed Yair a few years ago. I don't wanna see Frankie get KO'd again, he deserves a winnable farewell fight after this.

Luque missed weight as the backup... c'mon man.
Obviously nothing is going to happen to the main event but if you are going to be a backup you better make weight.

Quick thoughts on Rose vs Weili

Predictions: 9 of 14 Winners, 1 Perfect, 545 Points   |   Tied for 2730th

I don’t know if this is helpful to anyone, in Rose vs Weili one , I had a bet on Rose for under 2 round as I knew that Rose best path to victory is an early finish, Evert Rose fight I see, she does well for 10 minutes then die off, I think Weili had a good game plain the first time out, she just got caught with a headkick, I think she should do the same thing as last time without getting Ko’d, she landed 6 leg kick in that short fight, if she does the same thing and survive, by the 2nd round Rose move will be comprimise. Only thing that change from the first fight is Rose knock her out with a beautiful headkick and Rose will win if the fight is close now

Hard fight to call, I like Weili to win the matchup, but a vibe is making me pick Rose as I think she wins even if it a robbery split decsion.

I also say if they a finish, it be Rose in 1 or 2, Weili in 3,4,5. And in decsion it be close, I’m taking Rose as I think the finish is 50-50 and I edge Rose to slightly edge the split

Predictions: 10 of 14 Winners, 2 Perfect, 590 Points   |   Tied for 2120th

Usman vs. Covington II
Kamaru Usman, TKO, R4
Usman is the goat and this performance will further cement this.

Namajunas vs. Zhang II
Rose Namajunas, DEC
Good fight, not really sure but I like Rose so I'm going with her.

Edgar vs. Vera
Marlon Vera, DEC
I'm leaning Vera inside the distance, but for the sake of Frankie's health I hope not.

Burgos vs. Quarantillo
Shane Burgos, DEC
Burgos has good takedown defense and if Quarantillo can get outworked by Gavin Tucker, Burgos is just a better version of Tucker.

Gaethje vs. Chandler
Justin Gaethje, TKO, R1
GAETHJE BY MURDER

Michailidis vs. Pereira
Alex Pereira, TKO, R1
I think Michailidis will struggle to close the range on Pereira and get KO'd in the first.

Iaquinta vs. Green
Bobby Green, DEC
Bobby Green outworks Al.

Hawes vs. Curtis
Chris Curtis, TKO, R3
Curtis makes Hawes work early for takedowns and takes advantage late in the fight.

Shahbazyan vs. Imavov
Edmen Shahbazyan, TKO, R1
The Golden Boy is back!

Williams vs. Garry
Ian Garry, TKO, R1
I'm not impressed by Williams so I'll take Ian by annihilation.

Villante vs. Barnett
Chris Barnett, DEC
Who cares lol... Gian looks like he's in good spirits though at the weigh ins

Jacoby vs. Allan
Dustin Jacoby, DEC
Jacoby has only been taken down once in the UFC and Allan doesn't have the striking to compete with Jacoby. I'm worried he can get Allan out of there, but Allan has proven to be durable.

Baghdasaryan vs. Souza
Melsik Baghdasaryan, TKO, R1
I think the over is very possible in this, but Melsik will eventually find the chin.. not sure if it's in round 1 or later in the fight, but I think he gets Souza out of there.

Vergara vs. Osbourne
Ode Osbourne, SUB, R1
Vergara got dropped twice by Jacob Silva and I think Ode is a much better striker than Silva is, but won't let Vergara off the hook. Osbourne drops Vergara and chokes him out.

Hard not to go with Justin Gaethje,Justin's a complete killer but I think Michael Chandler pulls it off/gets it done because he mixes in wrestling while Justin Gaethje is only looking to blast on the feet and work standing up.

Vergara vs. Osbourne
Ode Osbourne, SUB, R2
Was going to pick Vergara who is an exciting prospect, but missing weight is quite often not a good sign 'cause of the difficult cut, and moreover, Ode has the reach and experience advantages. Against a striker like Vergara if Ode takes his time and manages to take him to the ground, I think he could submit him.

Baghdasaryan vs. Souza
Melsik Baghdasaryan, TKO, R1
Pickin' Melsik for this one, he is a savage and potentialy a future top 15, and he is fighting Souza that is a natural featherweight who missed weight, so he must have had a huge and difficult weight cut so he must not be at a 100% for this fight both physically and mentally. If you had the pressure of fighting in the Madison Square Garden in front of a huge crowd for your UFC debut, I think all the odds are against him, so I think Melsik will make the most of it and shut the lights out quick.

If Chandler has any sense at all, he will follow Khabib's gameplan by standing with Gaethje only to get him tired and then shoot for a takedown when he's not expecting it and then go hard for a submission.  This type of gameplan is what Chandler always used to do early in his career so he's fully capable of it.  If he stands and bangs with Gaethje the entire time, it's not going to end up well for him.  Those leg kicks by Gaethje will destroy him.

Gaethje had no defensive BJJ against Khabib at all because Khabib's plan was executed perfectly, he got him tired standing up and made Justin fight at a high pace the entire time.  Of course, Chandler is not Khabib.  He is way too wild and reckless.
