Predictions: 3 of 6 Winners, 2 Perfect, 200 Points | Tied for 382nd
Michelle Nicolini, SUB, R2
Nicolini is probably the best submisison artist in this weight class, if she avoids the stand up and gets it to the ground as soon as possible, I doubt Xiong will be able to defend the subs.
Zamboanga vs. Ham
Denice Zamboanga, KO/TKO, R2
Zamboanga is very explosive and she's seemingly improving every fight. I think Ham sometimes has trouble dealing with opponents who are stronger than her and pressure her too much, however of course Ham is highly experienced and is more technical, not my most confident pick at all.
Rassohyna vs. Fairtex
Stamp Fairtex, DEC
Fairtex was on a way to victory either way until the odd tap out, I think it will be similar to the last match.
Bo vs. Phogat
Meng Bo, KO/TKO, R2
Phogat in the fight with Bi showed that she had a lot of weakness when it came to striking defense and she does get tired. Bo has also shown she could have some trouble with wrestlers, however Meng Bo hits hard and her cardio is pretty good. I see Bo getting a finish here.
Hirata vs. Anderson
Hirata, KO/TKO, R2
Hirata trains with Shinya Aoki, a legend. I trust in Hirata's ability not to get submitted. She's very young in her career and she's been looking pretty good so far. The only thing notable is that her striking defense is not the best. I don't see Anderson being able to take advantage of this as her striking isn't that good either. I see Hirata taking Anderson down and holding her there and maybe finishing with a GNP or a submission.
Yamaguchi vs. Mezabarba
Mezabarba, DEC
Yamaguchi is 38 years old at Atomweight, while I don't think she's over the hill by any means. Mezabarba is an interesting prospect and a bigger than average Atomweight, I can see her overwhelming Yamaguchi a bit. However this is by far my least confident pick.

Jingnan Xiong, DEC
If Xiong can stay on her feet, she should win.
Yamaguchi vs. Mezabarba
Mei Yamaguchi, DEC
I think Yamaguchi's high-level experience gets her the win.

Nicolini vs Xiong
Nicolini, Sub, R1
Is there actually a more decorated female BJJ artist then Nicolini? It's incredibly impressive and has done her well being a specialist, however it seems if her opponent can survive to a decision she'll lose; There's even an argument to be made she lost the Angela Lee fight. Regardless I think once she takes it to the ground the skill level will be too much for Xiong.
This is a great card, really excited to see how the grand prix unfolds. One has great female talent pool.

Predictions: 4 of 6 Winners, 1 Perfect, 225 Points | Tied for 329th
Michelle Nicolini, SUB, R1
I think it's pretty ****** how Nicolini convincingly beat Angela Lee 2 years ago!!! Yet ONE has basically carried on as if Angela Lee is the greatest female fighter around!!! 2 years they've left Nicolini on the shelf!!! They've done the same with Bibiano, *** ONE??? Anyways, this fight is old school. BJJ vs Striking! I fancy Nicolini to get the early sub, but if she doesn't she could be in trouble!
Zamboanga vs. Ham
Seo Hee Ham, TKO, R3
Winner of this faces Hirata in the final I reckon. Hamderlei has been whoopin ass since leaving the UFC, lots of KO's!! Winning a decison over Hamasaki was a big win too! Personally I have Ham in my womens P4P top 10 at 9. Zamboanga has been on her own tear in ONE, she looks like a talent. But the difference in level of competition is HUGE!! Zamboanga probably starts well but that experience counts and Hamderlei takes over, possibly another TKO ( Grounded Knees after defending sloppy shots from a tired Zamboanga is my guess!)
Rassohyna vs. Fairtex II
Stamp Fairtex, TKO, R2
I think Stamp is gonna put a beatin on Rassohyna!!! Losing that last 2nd sub has surely fired her up!!
Meng vs. Phogat
Ritu Phogat, DEC
Never really been impressed much with Meng, apart from that 1 time she landed a sweet AF check hook KO!. Phogat will be able to dominate the wrestling here. My only worry is that she gasses out in the 3rd and get's TKO'd, or dominated so much that the judges could give the fight to Meng on damage. So Phogat needs to do as much damage as possible on the ground early.
Hirata vs. Anderson
Itsuki Hirata, SUB, R1
I think Hirata is going to make it to the finals. She still needs to improve her stand up, and she is. Her wrestling is good and you know Shinya Aoki prodigy is gonna have a nasty AF ground game!!

Jingnan Xiong, TKO, R4
Michelle Nicolini looks so similar to AEW wrestler Leyla Hirsch.. Also Xiong has 10 KO/TKOs, having a stoppage in all 5 different rounds in an mma fight {1st, 2nd , 3rd, 4th and 5th} She gives me Weili Zhang vibes, just an absolute ******* marauder.
Yeah i'm not tripping, they look like sisters!
Zamboanga vs. Ham
Seo Hee Ham, DEC
I remember Seo Hee Ham was in EA Sports UFC 2 (my favorite of the EA sports UFC video game saga) That game's roster was very deep and had a lot of random lowkey fighters. Ham's experience and better high level XP will shine through in this matchup.
Rassohyna vs. Fairtex II
Stamp Fairtex, TKO, R1
Instant rematch for these ladies? Interesting..... also how many fuggin Fairtexs is there in the combat sports world lol?!
Meng vs. Phogat
Ritu Phogat, DEC
Ritu Phogat beat Bi Nguyen! I'll never forget ONE, no matter how many countries you broadcast to!!!!!!!!
Hirata vs. Anderson
Itsuki Hirata, SUB, R2
Itsuki is cute
Yamaguchi vs. Mezabarba
Julie Mezabarba, DEC
All 12 of Yamaguchi's losses are by decision....
Olsim vs. Cleveland
Jenelyn Olsim, DEC
Olsim has fought the better competition... and ONE cards are always filled with upsets
