The ear drum excuse only comes from Wilder's corner and even then they only presented it as a possibility not a definite fact. We'll see if it plays out like the first or second though

Something* was definitely wrong with Wilder. He got hit in the ear and was on roller skates the rest of the fight. Went down on light body punch after that. Could've pushed him over.
