Ulanbekov vs. Nascimento
Tagir Ulanbekov, DEC
Really like Tagir here, he looked solid against Bruno Silva who is a dangerous opponent and battled through adversity in that one. Decent prospect at 125, Nascimento will try to use his BJJ game here but Tagir's wrestling and scrambling ability is gonna make it really hard for Allan to find the submissions. I think Tagir can control the striking with his fast hands and counters and get the win here

I don't think pick percentage has anything to do with how successful a person is betting for money.  For example, I don't have a good pick percentage on this website but I am very good at betting other sports such as the NFL, NBA, MLB, College Ball, Tennis, etc.  Even with MMA, I don't bet on everything that I choose, only props that I feel strong about.  There is also a lot of events that I didn't even input my picks on this website but I won on my personal bets.

The upcoming PFL and the next two UFC events are actually very very good for betting from what I can see.

I have a decent pick percentage but I'm abysmal at betting.

it's better than decent when you consider the fact you've made over 23k picks!

@PilloryChoke, I lost a lot of money in my first year of betting but I learned a lot of lessons.  I never had anyone teach me anything about bankroll management or risk management.  I had to learn the hard way, I still am learning.  I used to be all about "favorites" during my early days of betting.  Betting on baseball conditioned my brain to bet more underdogs and now I am much better at everything.

MMA is the most valuable of all sports for betting, no doubt about it.  There is no better feeling than to make a ton of money from the first fight on an undercard within 5 minutes because you chose someone to get a finish in the 1st round at +600 or so.  You can light up a cigar and relax the rest of the night after that.

@depmode do you have any good NBA bets? I've got a $20 free bet that expires tomorrow but it's only valid for NBA games and I haven't watched basketball in years.

They should make the picks like a weighted system based on what percentage picked that side/closing betting odds. Then you could tell who has a good pick percentage vs just people cherry picking. That being said starting about a week ago I'm going to Cherry pick big favorites on non ufc cards and skipping a few more of the more questionable picks on ufc so my percentage gets inflated a bit too. Usually I just pick the whole cards and pick dogs when I think they are value and it's hurt that number over time.

I was 54.something percent a week or two ago now I'm up to 59.1%. give me another month or two and I'll all of a sudden have a 65-70% percentage too.

Already picked all 15 on this card though. Can you cancel pick spots?

I wasn't planning on betting NBA today but let me research and see what I can come up with.  Yesterday was really good for me NBA wise... I took Magic to cover (usually on back to backs... if the underdog got blown out the 1st time, they will play much harder the 2nd time)... and I did Celtics moneyline and Lakers moneyline (Lakers almost blew it at the end)... the reason for those two picks was because both are good teams that were 0-2 and needed to win their games.

Let me do some research... and I'll get back to you.

Right on, you're the man. I'm so out of the loop with all other sports since I've started watching MMA but I don't wanna let a little free money go to waste

@ZoomerBet, I like Boston Celtics ml for tonight.  It's really not a good slate of games today but I feel they can get the job done against Charlotte tonight.  Please don't get mad if it is wrong, I'm not the best but do your research as well.  I will also do $20 on the Celtics ml right now too.

If we get it right, we got $20 extra for pizza and beer tonight :D

I also like Manuel Torres ml for the Contender Series fight tommorow night as well.

Appreciate it man, tonight I'm a Celtics fan! If they lose, it's a free bet so I'm not gonna sweat it. If they win, I owe you a beer

amount of missmatches in this sport is worrying.. look at bellator for example, often 99% to 1% pickrate, then fight turns out to be as expected, I mean it gets dangerous at some point should definitely be avoided

I know Glover has a very good chance at winning but Jans power is just on a different level then everyone else right now I also feel Jan has good enough TDD to deny Glover from getting to the floor

All the Celtics bettors tonight... let's get it!  Even though stats wise, Celtics haven't been doing well the first 3 games and had first half issues with the Rockets last night.  Hornets are also 3-0 and recently beat both the Nets and the Pacers lol.  But I feel like Boston will turn it up tonight and show people they are still contenders.

Hope it works out for us all!
