Magomedov vs. Stots
Raufeon Stots, DEC
I have yet to see Raufeon outworked, so it’ll be interesting to see this one play out in deep waters.

Gwerder vs. Bestaev
Khadzhimurat Bestaev, TKO, R2
Khadzhi did his camp at my gym so I was gonna pick him regardless. But after watching tape I would pick him twice over, he’s got plenty of cans on his record, but he’s disposing of them in appropriate fashion. I think he’s been shoring up his close range defense and take this fight. Next up he gets to go home and fight in Bellator: Russia.

What's the story with this Everrett Cummings guy? 15-0, definitely fought a lot of cans but how has nobody snapped him up before this fight. Especially at HW where a lot of these promotions are very shallow.

@mmafan

First glance on his tapology picture I was like no way this guys a heavyweight. I guess he started as a MW, eventually took a catch weight at 239 (idk why it wasn’t just a HW fight) and he’s been in the 265 lbs division since fighting bums. Tbf, Franklin has only fought cans too but he’s got such a size advantage

Cummings sucks, he's only fought in really dubious orgs besides Bellator, and shouldn't even have an undefeated record anymore - Sean Johnson got him with Travis Browne elbows and it only got overturned due to how shady Gladiator Challenge is.

Davion should destroy him if he's competent in any way, sort of surprised Everett took the fight though. He's been pretty meticulous with his bookings.

Feels like Salter is much more of live dog than most are giving him credit for.
Mousasi has had some very uninspiring performances lately, and his age in fight years may be finally catching up to him. Doesn't seem outside the realm that Salter could control/wrestle and get 3 rounds out of it.

Mousasi vs. Salter
Gegard Mousasi, DEC
Not confident in this and if he's on form then John Salter could certainly cause an upset. I will think again about this pick nearer the time.

Koreshkov vs. Homasi
Sabah Homasi, DEC
For me, this fight comes down entirely to which version of Andrey Koreshkov shows up on fight night. Because of this, I'll take a chance on the underdog.

Franklin vs. Cummings
Davion Franklin, TKO, R2
Everett Franklin can't hold onto that 0 forever.

Gwerder vs. Bestaev
Ty Gwerder, TKO, R2
I am way more confident about this outcome than I have any justifiable reason to be.

This is the easiest fight to predict on this card.

Magomedov vs Stots
Magomedov, DEC
They will probably cancel each other on the wrestling, and on the feet i don't feel confident in Stots

Koreshkov vs. Homasi
Koreshkov, WHATEVER HE WANTS
Koreshkov is so much better, very easy to predict also

Franklin vs. Cummings
Davion Franklin, TKO, R2
I hope the referee doesn't let Cummings take too much damage

Gwerder vs. Bestaev
Ty Gwerder, DEC
That's a close context

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 4 of 8 Winners, 1 Perfect, 225 Points   |   Tied for 1002nd

Mousasi vs. Salter
Gegard Mousasi, DEC
Salter has some mean submissions but I'm not sure if that'll be easy against a Judo black belt. Mousasi is very well rounded with striking and grappling offense. Fight to go the distance.

Koreshkov vs. Homasi
Andrey Koreshkov, TKO, R2
Spartan with some solid grappling and striking. Backing him to get a finish by TKO. Homasi might have a weak chin. He has been knocked out 6 times.

Magomedov vs. Stots
Raufeon Stots, DEC
Supa to grind out a decision victory.

Franklin vs. Cummings
Everett Cummings, SUB, R1
Cummings is actually 16-0-0. How's he the slight underdog!? 😮 Cummings by submission in the 1st 👀

Gwerder vs. Bestaev
Ty Gwerder, TKO, R2
This fight is definitely ending inside the distance. Gwerder has never been knocked out. Bestaev's chin concerns me as he has been knocked out twice in the 1st round.

Sorenson vs. Samad
Roberta Paim Samad, TKO, R3
Crusher has the ability to win by TKO and submission. She only lost once by decision so I like her here to end the fight by TKO.

Sabatello vs. Campbell
Johnny Campbell, SUB, R2
Key to victory for Campbell is a submission. Like him in this one because he finishes fights as opposed to his opponent who wins a lot by decision

Montalvo vs. St. Louis
Justin Montalvo, TKO, R3
St. Louis has lost twice by K.O and has been inconsistent. Backing the younger fighter to nap him and get his 3rd win in a row.

Mirkhojaev vs. Ad****
Nekruz Mirkhojaev, SUB, R2
Ad**** is well balanced with the tools to finish by submission and KO; but he has been submitted 3 times.

Ruiz vs. Glossner
Jeffrey Glossner, TKO, R3
Backing Glossner to finish this fight by TKO. He won the previous 2 by finish.

Mendoza vs. McNeil
Orlando Mendoza, DEC
Don't know anything about these fighters. Backing the fight to go the distance and Mendoza to win by decision.

"No guts, no glory."

So what happens if a fight is cancelled?

I just noticed that Sabatello has been removed from this event due to COVID. My question is what happens on Bovada if you have Sabatello in a parlay? Is the whole parlay considered cancelled or do you simply get a smaller payoff if the rest of the parlay wins?

@rama7

I don't use Bovada as they're not really a thing over here but from my previous experiences with this, the fight just gets taken off of the parlay so you get a smaller return if the parlay wins.

I've never used Bovada, but they most likely operate like the sportsbooks I've used before. Your parlay will still be active. However, the odds will change as a result of that Sabatello fight not being there. I had the same thing happen to me when Amanda Nunes got covid. I had her in a $2500 parlay with O'Malley and Islam. The good news is I won the parlay. The bad news is I could've won so much more if Amanda had wiped the floor with big mouth Pena.

Yeah the bet just continues with whatever other legs of the parlay. Usually you can cash out at no cost and make a new bet. But sometimes losing the fight changes your cash out quote, and you would lose money so it's not worth doing.

St Louis? Are you sure bro? Why are you picking him?

I thought Montalvo has a better chance, especially being from Serra-Longo with people like Merab, Weidman and Aljo in them training room.
