I think Till can avoid the takedowns and his striking should be way superior, I don't see what Brunson has that can threaten Till on the feet. Also if Till wins here he might just get a title shot after Whittaker, the UFC is still high on this dude and Adesanya wants that fight still.

I think Craig is good and I just see him submetting him because it like Gussafson awesome ground game is gone, Dude got submetted in his last 2 and ground and pound finish in the fight before that.

Yeah Gus has had one weird career. His decline kinda reminds me of Tony Ferguson almost the way he just kinda gets run over in fights. It's like that second Jones fight broke him, he has never been the same since.

Craig is slowly becoming a legend, between his multiple last second submissions, his arm breaking submissions, and his natural Scottish charisma... If he can sub Gus here, he really deserves a big step up in competition.
Ankalaev vs. Oezdemir

Tough matchup for Oezdemir, who keeps taking the dangerous fights with big risk little reward... But I still think he's an underated fighter : he has very impressive wins over Manuwa, Cirkunov, Rakic, Reyes (yes he won that), St Preux and Latifi, and his losses are nothing to be ashamed about: he lost by KO against Jiri, but almost finished him in the first round, and Jiri may be a future Champ... Everybody except Jones and Miocic are losing to Cormier... He was dominating the Anthony Smith fight on the feet AND on the ground, almost finishing him a couple times standing, until round 4, where his gas tank failed him badly... And the Reyes loss is a win except for two juges. So Ankalaev is very talented and a bad matchup, but I think Volkan can win the first 2 rounds with his devastating Muay Thaï, then survive a complicated last round to win a close decision...

I don't understand what happened to Rountree in the Eric Anders fight (on the Joe Rogan MMA experience he spoke about a training camp in Thaïland, if I remember correctly), but his striking was so beautiful to watch, his chin and defense were on point, and his cardio held up well. I can understand being KO's by crazy fellow glass canon Cutelaba, but the decision loss to Prachnio was really sad to watch. I heard he wants to retire soon, but I hope it's just frustration, because I think at his best, Rountree is a top 10 Light Heavyweight and could give us some more fun wars (imagine him vs fun strikers like Walker or Volkan Oezdemir, that would be dope).

Brunson getting underestimated on this one, Till it's not even that good to get all this hype for this fight, and Brunson's IQ is much better than a little time ago and he's a high level wrestler. We all see how Till fights against wrestlers, so I think that Brunson will do another boring fight and gets the decision win (or Till will get injury again and the fight will get cancellead).

Poor Alex, 8 years ago he was going toe to toe with a prime Jones and was having people on his side giving him the victory, and now he's the underdog against Paul Craig, a guy that it's not even a top 10 on his weigh division. Now Ankalaev is a guy that deserves the hype. Volkan is a good fighter, but Ankalaev is a phenomenom and probably will be in the top 5 till the end of the year, and maybe will be fighting for the title in the next year. I see Ankalaev repeating what Jiri did to Volkan.

FOTN candidate right there. Schnell is a good fighter, but when gets pressionated by his oponnents he just don't know what to do, and Perez is that kind of fighter that likes to be on your face the whole time. So I think Perez will put a lot of pression on Schnell and will get the TKO win.

Till might have every skill advantage, but Derek Brunson is the exact wrong matchup for anyone with inconsistent performances, injury history, chin questions. He's a brick wall who just grinds.
