Hey guys. Should i start the next one today a week and a half early to see how many people we can get to participate (downfall is losing fights) 

Or do i wait until next week to make sure the fights are a little more set in stone (most likely less participants)

I'd say start now as more people will make the game more competitive. Plus, you can always add more backup fights if necessary. 

I'm afraid that if i start it now i'll be eliminated before next week lmao typically how it goes for me

How could you be eliminated before next week? I'd assume the new game would start with UFC 264 in which case that just means you've got just under a couple of weeks to recruit people and think about your picks. You could be eliminated after UFC 264 but that's just part of the game.
