@Xconchris
>@Mikey, question, why is the event under Most Valuable Promotions? Not a Showtime boxing?. Not familiar with this

Moreover, he’s even tied up with Showtime Sports, which will broadcast fights under Most Valuable Promotions’ banner.

Earlier, Paul was in collaboration with Triller and he became a boxing hotshot with them. However, this deal didn’t last long, and ‘The Problem Child’ inked a deal with Showtime Sports. Under his own promotions now, Paul will look to promote his fights to a greater extent, thus bagging significant paychecks for rolling out cosmic shows for the fans.

Xconchris. Because Showtime is just broadcaster, MVP is the Promotional company set up by Paul. He promoted this show(alongside a few other promoters).
Showtime will do deals with boxers to fight on their network. But they aren't the promoter

Jake said he would have a tattoo artist at the arena for the loser to get the tattoo after the fight. So if Tyron doesn't have the tattoo the next time you see him, we will know he *****ed out.

So Paul Woodley 2 or Paul vs Fury???
To be honest I think I'd rather see the rematch out of those 2.
But what I actually want is for him to Box an actual professional boxer!!! You know because he's a boxer himself now! Haha

I had this 5-3 for Paul and it should be unanimous decision win for him (Paul 77-75 Woodley), even though I was rooting for Woodley.

Last night just further cemented the fact Jake Paul isn't a boxer.

I have respect for him simply due to the fact, he's making serious money off of this ********. And I'm not gonna **** on him for that. But the dude isn't good. He is better than the average dude walking the streets, but that's not an accomplishment when you're playing pro boxer. He fought a 40-year-old MMA fighter known for slow starts, a near-retired man who specializes in wrestling, and in terms of who actually had the bigger moments, Woodley arguably beat him simply based on that R4 alone.

I understand how Paul won, but I disagree wholeheartedly with the idea that 'defense' wins fights when your defense is literally turning your back and running. And that's all Paul did for the majority of the last 4 rounds outside of a few good shots. That shouldn't be rewarded - ever. I respect defense. Guys like Mayweather who look masterful and use their defense to land punches and make their opponent look foolish. That's respectable. The way Jake Paul fought last night is not respectable.

And it's not all his fault. Woodley fought like Woodley and it unfortunately lost him the fight. He was way too chill, and started slow like he usually does. but it bit him in the ass here. When he pressed the action, Jake Paul was doing nothing to him outside of one really clean overhand he landed on Woodley. Just super **** fight from both.

Might be a hot take, idk, but I don't think Jake Paul deserves a win for the ******** fight he fought. Period. Not saying Woodley deserved it solely due to him having the only real significant round of the fight - but also saying exactly that.

Paul is D tier fighter and a D+ tier boxer. And anyone who claims anything different really needs to watch more boxing. One in every 10 jabs he throws look surprisingly snappy and good, but his technique is ****, he fades pretty visibly after 3 rounds, he doesn't have a whole lot of power, and he's not very quick. He's not a pro boxer.

I'll also say; ridiculous that 2 of 3 judges in the main event were from Jake Paul's hometown. It's almost like Showtime was preparing for some homecooking regardless of how the fight went.

Amanda Serrano looked good but her fights just don't do it for me. And I'm not sure why. Personal preference, I guess? I find Claressa Shields to be a good watch while a lot of people find her boring. So I'm not sure what it is about Serrano, but I'm not a big fan.

Daniel Dubois is an interesting one to watch. Need to see far more from him to make any real judgements, but he does look like a bit of a problem so far. Montana Love exceeded my expectations. Easy FOTN there, just a helluva scrap.

Tommy Fury sucks, too. Tommy Fury vs. Jake Paul is the perfect fight. Just two *********s who like to play fighter. Anthony Taylor was - objectively - the worst fighter on this entire card. Dude sucks. This was a clear showcase fight for Fury to get a KO and he couldn't even stop Anthony Taylor. When arguably your toughest fight to date is Anthony Taylor, that says a lot about you as a fighter. Just garbage.

Tyron was literally walking Jake down after round 3-4 , Jake gassed and wasn't as impressive as I thought he would, comes out saying how tough his opponent tyron is only because he knew he was in too deep, if he won by knockout he wouldn't be that respectful , he definitely was humbled in his own mind , tyron was literally chasing him round the ring for the last few rounds his gas tank is not impressive

Apart from Serrano, (I've spoken enough about her tho!)

I respct the hell out of Serrano and she's clearly talented. Put on a solid performance last night, too. Just for whatever reason have never been able to enjoy her as much as other people do. But I respect her most definitely.

For all the hype, these guys couldn't fight for ****. The fact that Tyron lost, even thought I saw no chance of winning, to a fighter who has been boxing for 3 years, is incredible low. Tyron is easily the worst UFC Champion.
