Might go through withdrawal for a whole week with no UFC. Thank God PFL and Bellator got my fix to keep me stable.

Cannonier vs. Gastelum
Kelvin Gastelum, DEC
as the last fights have shown, Cannonier is absolutely not plastic, not agile and Oak fighter, besides at a decent age for this weight category, I see something similar to his previous fight, he is overrated

Pichel vs. Hubbard
Austin Hubbard, DEC
interestingly in the last two fights the tapology members predictions on Pichel were diametrically opposed to the current ones and underdog win, but still, youth should take over and fat coeff to take

Guida vs. Madsen
Mark O. Madsen, DEC
why the coefficient increased from 1.2 to 1.65, a great opportunity to bet ) the Olympian should confidently take the victory

As I get into the Madson/guida tape I feel less confident on Madson here. He should win but current late 30s guida looks pretty damn good with the wrestling himself and probably the advantage on the feet. Seemed to me like in the third against Hubbard Madson started to either gas or get sloppy after taking shots. I will still probably pick Madson but I don't think this will be near of a domination as his past few. I think I might bet the over here if it's reasonable lined. Like -140 to -190. Probably will be in the 200s though

I think Madsons route to victory has to be paved in the striking, make Guida respect his power on the feet and then wrestle**** into an arm triangle or relentless ground and pound. Otherwise Guida is just too experienced to let Madson have his way with him on the ground

I’m  honestly at a point with Kelvin that I think he should retire , or he really need to change stuff, Kelvin look terrible, or average at best in all his fights since Israel Adesanya. His last fight with Rob wasn’t great, sure it Bobby Knuckles, But he clearly lost all 5 round, got out stuck by about 100 strikes and got taken down a few times, Rob never just destroys people in his fights, he is great, but his fight are usually at lease somewhat close. Fight before that, Close fight with (1 in his last 4) Ian Henish, fight before that got submitted easily in under a minute by Jack Hermanson. Also he look bad agaist Till. If one or 2 of these fights they can be excuse, But 4 is a trend of not being good

I’m saying this as Kelvin had promise like 3-4 years ago of being great, but it seems his skill fell off a cliff. Never seen a fighter below the age of 30 become so ****. Kelvin haven't look like a ranked fighter since fighting for the interim belt. I think he need to fight unranked or below top 10 guys at this point, Jared Canonor is gonna whoop his ass. Jared doing what a top fighter should be doing, Knocking out Hermanson, Finishing Anderson Silva and actully having a competitive fight with Rob which he at least took a round off Rob

@Tieoken who else did you parlay?

I'm looking at Madsen, Sherman, Pantoja, and Martinez. Not sure what to do. Maybe one with Gastelum too, though +125 isnt as nice as when it opened at like +170.

I lined Pantoja with him and Knight in two separate bets. I also did a dog parlay punt with Hubbard and Lingo. Mana by TKO or decision is a straight play I’m considering when the line for it drops, he’s just priced in too accurately right now IMO.

Oh and I almost never do this but I did a Hail Mary gut bet: Pantoja, Kelleher, Knight, Palatnikov, Lingo, Madsen, and Casey. But I came out pretty big last night so I might as well donate it back to my bookie.

Predictions: 4 of 12 Winners, 1 Perfect, 240 Points   |   Tied for 3089th

Pantoja vs. Royval
Alexandre Pantoja, DEC
I know I have Pantoja but watch out for Royval👀

Kelleher vs. Pilarte
Brian Kelleher, DEC
BOOM!

Knight vs. Cherant
William Knight, TKO, R2
I really like Cherant but yes getting competition that is WAY too tough. I think a vet winding down or another hot prospect in a similar phase as him would do well.

Pichel vs. Hubbard
Austin Hubbard, DEC
I think Hubbard should beat Pichel due to busting rusting 38 yr olds.

Saldaña vs. Lingo
Luis Saldaña, DEC
More prospects? Goodie Goodie!

Guida vs. Madsen
Clay Guida, DEC
This goes the distance either way. Guida is a tough MFer.

Brahimaj vs. Palatnikov
Sasha Palatnikov, TKO, R3
Palatnikov via PROSPECT BEATDOWN!

Martinez vs. Strader
Mana Martinez, TKO, R1
Martinez is another serious prospect that should be on the watch. I think he will get in there and get it done early.

Roberts vs. Bahamondes
Ignacio Bahamondes, DEC
Bahamondes is a serious prospect who should be watched. Makdessi was a UFC vet and I think he can handle Roosevelt Roberts.

Casey vs. Jojua
Liana Jojua, DEC

Really don't wanna go with saldana he looked so **** in his last fight also,

I was thinking on Saturday, how many contender series fighters have really been that great? I know there's probably more but I can only think of Adrian yanez off the top of my head. Like cmon most of the contender series guys have been **** in there ufc debuts and havn t looked ufc worthy, makes you think what's the point of it.

Can we all agree Adrian yanez is the best guy to ever come from the show as of yet
Menifield looked much improved on saturday, omalley fighting cans
I know there are some prospects that could improve and be good but you never know they might just never improve

Saldana came off it and he looked so **** his last fight I can't believe he won decision another fighter being gifted by bad judges

There's been a good number of decent guys to come off of there, definitely the minority though, billy Q, Kasaganay, Miguel baeza, decent bit of people.....https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dana_White%27s_Contender_Series

Brendan Allen, Ryan Spann, Geoff Neal, O'Malley, etc.

Yanez is promising, but he's still an infant in terms of career trajectory pretty much.

My slight fear betting against Cherant is that the von flue choke he got caught in was basically undefended because the slam from Menifield injured him. I kinda think I want to throw that fight away. He's big and young, and I'm just dying waiting to be impressed by Knight. His stamina seems... not great, and we just saw him controlled with some basic grappling.

Cherant did give away a fight to Stipe's LHW boy though. I'm expecting to see Knight do his thing of just outmuscling a fellow raw prospect and pull out the w.

Don't think either will amount to much tbh.
